Deify me, I illuminate your world.I shine like your luminous guardian angel. In the cosmos, I am your adored arch-angel.I awake to brighten a lack-luster morning.I always your routine activities herald.
The night is chasing the sun. It's always like this at home, the deep sky getting darker the further you tilt your head up. It's nearly black up there, at the top. (The top? The middle? The end?

I live on the edge of town
I live on the edge of town,
Where green fields meet the dark deep woods,
And sparrows sing all day,
I sit betrothed to the swaying fields,
I live on the edge of town

Where green fields meet the dark deep woods,

Exists so we can love
The beautiful flowers of nature
My country is the beautiful sun
My country is not the hard winter
My country is an often green Eden
Mi amor cuando te vas
Cuando se vaya
Es mi luna que se va
Es mi sol que se va
Yo no como
Mon amour quand tu pars
Quand tu t’en vas
C’est ma lune qui part
C’est mon soleil qui s’en va
Je ne mange pas
Mon amour quand tu pars
Quand tu t’en vas
C’est ma lune qui part
C’est mon soleil qui s’en va
Je ne mange pas
Meu amor quando você sai
Quando você vai embora
É minha lua indo embora
É meu sol desaparecendo
Eu não como
My love when you leave
When you walk away
It's my moon vanishing
It's my sun disappearing
I do not eat
To me you're the sun,And you're right that it's fun,Now in exactly the way that you'd think.Like stretching out just right,In a puddle of light,With a snack, a book, and a drink.
There're days when the sun is upWhen the solar rays hit youYou feel been dropped from the topAnd you end up right on the screw.
Sun saves moves and rays for some as a racing nun
Burns form him as from a mum
Fun runs in plum turn for each warmth won
She smiles at the sun
Taking in its rays with joy
She rejoices in its light
Dances in its presence
And admires its everlasting beauty
Good night my little wee oneIt's time to close your eyesIf you'll but wait till morningYou'll get a big surpriseThe sun will smile and greet youIn ever changing skiesFor mom and daddy love you
Spears of light reach towards the heavensas flames illuminate along waters edgeprotruding rock pyramids silhouettes, the sun is falling off the horizonas its beams hold the glow across the sky
It was hard to see clearly but the gray lit skies slowly started to perish and blue hues took way into the sky eventually being followed by an array of orange casting across the open fields and coating the trees with its golden light.
Stay up all night
Can’t handle tomorrow
Rather dance in the dark until my legs are weak and my head is spinning
I’ll say I put up a fight

"CHOSEN AND HEAVENLY ELECTED"
Driven by the moon
Though I'm sustained by the sun
I find some refuge in believing
God will hold me when I'm done
Baking, broiling, blindingly bright, blistering sun,The kabob that is my body searing, skeweredOver scorching, sweltering, sizzling sand.Deceptively blue skies devoid of any deliverance,
When the sun rises
don't look for me.
I've done something awful
and I don't want you to see.
When the sun rises
don't turn on the news.
I'm afraid that's how
they'll try to tell you.
in the afternoon sun we
become
different people.

(This poem was written when I was young)
In the morning, the sun rises
Like a glowing ball
Full of anger and rage
But never small
Every day always shining
Hot and bright
he looked at her
like she was the sun. that is,
he squinted and cowered in the face of her
absolute radiance.
Years later, someone else looked at her
like she was the moon. that is,
Inhale the scent of fresh cut grass,
Smelling crisp in the morning dew.
The fighting hummingbirds begin their clash,
As the morning starts anew.
While Spring's lovely days
Are warm and sweet,
High In the sky sat the moon. Perched on his throne of night.
In a sea of stars he lay, shining ever so bright.
The Sun asked him how he did it.
How could he stay awake for so long?
When the sun lifts, I think about tomorrow
and the earth bringing foreign land,
making rosemary and lavender
that grows from three month rain.
Discovering a misspelled word in your favorite novel
And smiling,
Because nothing is perfect.
Watching wildflowers escape through dry brush,
Pushing into the sun,
Living in a ditch,
Discovering a misspelled word in your favorite novel
And smiling,
Because nothing is perfect.
Watching wildflowers escape through dry brush,
Pushing into the sun,
Living in a ditch,
He was always warned
That riches destroy
But how can such greatness
Turn out so sour?
It brought prizes and happiness
I hope tomorrow never comes.
Tonight to last forever.
If we wake to the sun,
rays on our face,
it's too late.
I'll know theres no time to leave this place.
Morose feeling inside.
Mat Ga Trong,
the Sun Goddess of Vietnam.
Is now,
the most popular girl at school.
Her long black hair flowing freely against her back,
Her eyes filled with a flaming passion,
She smiles through her tears
Like rain on a hot summer day
The drips are still falling but
It’s bright and
Beautiful

The sun is an unforgiving demon in the sky.
It sends beams of heat at me, hoping I will die.
It stares at me all day, hidden beneath a tree.
Dull stardust dims the light that no longer reflects the Sun.Night reigns eternal, silent and dark,Echoes sounding off to make sure they aren’t alone. This was the Queen of the Day’s before she vanished,

i say this so much it's grown into its own
small world, its own small sea of love
that i wade into on the worst of nights.

From the distance,
When the trees that obstruct,
Are deconstructed,
And the towers of steel,
Are forced to kneel,
6:00pm on a Wednesday, the soft rain has left a vapor in the air that settles on your skin like sweat. The sky fills with clouds and sun to spread a yellow hue across the atmosphere like looking through aviator glasses.
The waves crashed together in all of their glory,
their chaos creating a sense of relaxation within her,
She looked to the clouds as if each of them told a story.
The golden rays of the sun were starting to shine,
While I have always sought affection amongts the secrets of the night,
Sharing kinship with the shadows,
Relishing fromt the solitary seduction of it,
I cannot ignore the Sun.
The moon rises to take her place in the night sky. She is surrounded by her children, before their light begins to die. The sun sets and descends to the underworld, leaving the world dark and cold. But yet, there is a light so bold.
Always staring
Never speaking.
Always shining
Never meeting.
Always endeavor
Never go.
Always together
Never close.
Reality why oh why do you bother me
I was just fine without you while I lay on the sand
My life was good, scratch that grand
It was just the sun, the sand, the waves and me
To My Sons Who Are My Suns
All the men in my sons’ lives are ins some type of bondage
I look for a better tomorrow, but can’t find it
She was born from fire.AndFrom those ashes she rose.burnt skin-Burnt skin that sizzled down like gift paper that had been thrown into the fire.
I balanced my back
Flat.
In looong grass.
Felt the tickle of butterflies landing on my tummy
And with the dandelions that sway in the field
I don’t want to be quiet anymore,
(that really bothers me.)
I want to fill the silences and make people smile.
I don’t want to be lost anymore.
it was the sun that became my friend

to house to house

as friends realized
soon i will just leave again.

And in that summer we seemed infinite
Hair streaming behind us as we flew
Down the neverending driveway
Pebbles skidding out of the way
Of our whirling wheels
Shoelaces flapping against the spokes
I can not live without the moon.
I can survive, yes, but am unable live.
When the moonlight is gone, the night skies turn bleak.
The forces that banish it I will never forgive.
From the narrowest sliver of space
Caught between roof and tree
The moon is shining brightly
Through my window to me,
So bright, so fair, so proud it shines
For the briefest glimpse of time
Looking back now
There are many events
I wish I could change.
People I trusted,
People I loved,
People I hated.
Oh how foolishly yound I used to be.
Will you wait for me?
As I stand on the edge of sand
With water caressing between my toes
Back and forth, back and forth
There is a lull in the wind
Everything stops,
The joy of the soulis measured by feelings.Smiling, you float over the
forgetfulness lost in the twilight
of the evening
Oh, powerful Sun
Illuminated still
Like a plant, I reach to you
’til I’ve had my fill.
So, I flower & I fruit
& make aromatic scents
with my skin living in
perpetual radiance.
may I tell you what I I know?the sun beamed furiously on me today,I could hear her warm glowsun dry my skin like hay

Light in the sky
Come to wake
My sleeping eyes
How are you
This day bright
Never did I

The moon shines bright in a sky full of lost stars
Cold evenings are dark driving in cars
My dreams are sweet sometimes, but
in my nightmares, I'm alone
I sleep until the monsters go home
Clouds are endless,
When way up high,
towards the edges of the sky.
Also soft,
Plush, enough to catch
The common by and by.
Stars, those shooting stars
When the sky falls.
Why does the moon absent? She must be tired of faces She decided to be absent To get what she is worth To know how she evaluates As she tired of looking down She tired of seeing the earth She tired of looking to the face Who hate himself and his
I never saw a facethat I Saw as much as yours
that golden part

wringing together hands
that invariably aimed to only touch yours;
You brought me into this world
Instilled your hope, genes, and dreams into my soul
Mom,
Through these 20 years
I've had many fears
You've wiped away so many tears
My heart is full
I
can take
the heat.
The rays of sun never fail to slow me down
and lighten my head
I lie in wait
for the heat to form a pillow under my head
and a blanket over my body
I look into your eyes and cannot begin to explain the deep passion
that burns in my heart for you.
I devote my every waking moment to you, for I live to
like the sun

In the 60's you were magical, in my young mind I knew that you could grant wishes.
So I watched you I even claimed a star and named it Michael because I loved him so.
i am the stars.
i am not the moon.
i am not the sun.
i am not the brightest thing in the sky
Dear Sky,
I’m so sorry little star,
You’ll be next to go
Light keeps disappearing behind the char
We must reap what we sow
To the rose with tears in her petals.
Who wilts every morning as the suns rays illuminate her wounds
Who’s roots dig deep but were grown too thin to drink in life
If people were a solar system
I would be the sun shining front and center in its glory
My friends would be the stars cheering me on
I see that day now,it’s gold-sunlight kissedwith apple crisp air on my lips.Tart laughter stained our cheeks, and our eyes glittered, feasting, on the velveteensincerity of each other.
I.
The universe existed
for more than billions of years.
Planets came and left.
Stars burst and lived.
A sky abound with Sun untoldClouds and tears of ages old,A curl of childs hand upraisedTo skies unbound, the Moon unfold.
A golden glow falls down from sky,
And on my face and hands does lie,
It warms my skin, but also soul,
And heals my broken heart to whole.
There is history in light. A
story written on everything
it touches; perhaps I want to feel it and let my body yearn to remember you in the morning
like a sunburn.
A still, opaque midnight
Undisturbed, sleepy, and without refraction
Until golden tendrils of smoke roll in like billowing clouds
The sun came up this morning
I greet it with a smile
Then fall back asleep
for a long while
'till the sun has gone and left
and the moon greets me but then
I fall back in my pillow
I see diamonds in velvet, a mother’s dark cloak,
draped o’er the earth in a hushed fan of cloth,
for she mourns every night for the loss of her sun,
I'm like the sun
Beautiful with a bright personality
You can't look at me long
You'll see my past that contains pain
And you won't look at me the same
That's why I burn
So your eyes shy away quick
i. sun:
the light of all life.
Ive had many suns in my life,
people I thought would be the center
of my universe forever.
After the last person, I swore to myself
I’d never put anyone there again.
Light
Living in my skin
When daylight reaches past 8
And arises before 7
An axe splits open my shell
A familiar coffin of cobwebs
The sun is hot and painful
It leaves scars on the skin
It brings fires to homes
The sun is blinding
But I can’t stay away from him
is love...
The sun's hot rays,
as he shines upon the land,
the understanding,
of when his light reaches into every piece of the world,
Your smile isn't brighter than the sun,
infact, compared to the stars its a fraction.
I won't get lost in your eyes,
but please don't let this demoralize.
If your smile was brighter than the sun, it'd be unnatural,
She has flowers in her
Golden wheat hair.
Her limbs are tree branches,
With leaves at her fingertips.
Her eyes are brilliant stars;
Her face glows with warm sunlight.
I dance in the sea
I twirl, bubbles surround me
I run up high on the clouds
Racing the angels proud
Then swim in the sun
Till the day is done
The golden honey rays flow
Through the window, laying gently upon my face
Warming me from my head to my toes
The magnificent yellow pierces
And drips its golden honey into my innocent iris
I look in her eyes
I have never met someone
Who made me feel the way
The early morning sun
And the splashing waves
On white sandy beaches
Make me feel
Until I saw into her eyes
his eyes were mine, they held the sea and the sun.making my heart explode his eyes never showed me lovebecause they were in love with another.
In the mind's eye, I can see naught but a raindrop,Reflecting an emerald world as, on a blade of grass, it is atop.
My world often gravitates into a dark side of the universe, sinking deep into that darkness without any light, moon, sun or stars.
“Do I dare disturb the universe? In a minute there is time.”
When is that time?
I’m kind of disruptive.

By Joseph Abelardo Conaty
The celestial light has come upon us
And shining brightly just as thus
The dark night has a glowing shimmer
By hour and hour the light gets dimmer
Behind the dark sky of clouds
A sun rests, with all its' stars
And as I walk, forever proud
Of my many universes that are
Behind the clouds, behind the sun
Behind anything that has not yet begun
the grass flowed with the breeze
rubbing off green on my scraped knees
the scratches itched and burned
but so did the sun I later learned
Squeezing My chest is ...Squeezing Calling out for you to Squeeze me Hold me close and Acknowledge my existence without making me feel kiddish Like a child with a crush on a teacher
This silver light does shine tonight.
Your celestial body illuminates so bright
And brings this will of mine to fight.
As the moon doth draw a curtain upon the Earth,
So does my heart for your gentle mirth.
Early morning
The sun is still rising
The fields are still blanketed
With spider's webs
That the morning sunlight
Shine directly through
Glistening like diamonds
Heavy with kisses of dew
I can still feel the heat of the sun on my skin
Still feel the memory of where it had been
As we both fell asleep
We both fell so fast
I looked up at you
And I prayed it would last
Asking when the right time is
To move on forward,
To leave behind things unbroken,
People not forgotten,
Actions never betraying a regretful tone,
May not be so hard after all.
With the rays of the sun I'll make her crown
With the fabric of space I'll make her gown
With the rings of Saturn I'll make her throne
With the universe for her stage may her reign last forever
Long live the queen.
There was a sempiternal supply of energy that night,
The flireflies danced their ballad and the countless gathered to observe the spectacle.
The sun and moon, two mystic lovers, would meet again tonight.
She Shone Poem Tear blinded eyes Get fried by the dying sun It screams at her to run And to turn the left at the crossroads Because right isn't always right Light beams through the trees as she runs down the left path She hath see
The way that the sun sets and the sky looks as if it’s on fire,
Sitting on the edge looking down endless rows of trees and wanting to be even higher,
Heartache-
Strain-
And when sometimes all I want is to finally break
The sun still comes up.
Regret-
Despair-
And when there's times I'm certain that I'm just a dumb burnette
My king of the sun, Golden and unreachable My heart hopes, but it knows. Knows that you are nothing but a dream A beautiful love that will never be real And I think it's because It was I who trapped myself. You were the shining hero clad in gliste
Six thirty—
Alarm rings;
I text my boyfriend I love him,
And go back to bed.
Six forty five—
Alarm rings again;
And I get out of bed.
Thus begins every school day,
The morning sun is like a coffee
Liquid light streaming from the sky
A cup of bliss for upturned faces
Receiving the golden greeting from up high.
The morning sun is like a letter
Five A.M.
And the world
Is fast asleep
My alarm clock
Blares
And wakes me up
While yours
Prepares
To go off
In an hour
My tea pot
Shudders
A call of affirmation
An air of great suppression
Awoken by the stream of light
Which beckons me to my day's plight
A screaming alarm
It means no harm
But morning is dreary
And I am weary
There are more than a few things
Which I am pleased about,
that wash away my stormy days,
and cleanse me of my doubt.
Sometimes they are big things
and sometimes they are small
A scattering of light,
an orange sun rising.
New is the day that chases the night—
a morning anew Beginning.
Life is all about feelin' good,
I'm always on the hunt for The Feel Good Medicine.
I think I finally found it,
A little bit of laughter and a lot of sun tossed in with the scent of the salty ocean at sunset,
When it's dark deep inside, there's no point to hide since he brightens me up like the sun in a gloomy time.
It is never not there.
For its beautiful glare,
the sunrise of Nature's glory,
is nothing but fair.
Awaken to its light.
Dear friends in sight.
The planets surround it,
My eyes are closed
The sun is out
Though I’m still enclosed
I can hear them shout
I look out to the rising sun
Rain - is the world's way of crying
Snow - is the world's way of cleansing its life.
Sun - is the world's way of showing happiness.
Earthquakes -are the world's way of shouting.
You see the glow first. The radience of it.
It lights up the darkness. A star in the sky.
It happens every day and you bask in its beauty.
The thing that brightens up people's lives.
The night is growing old.
Young, dewy eyes watch as the rays of morning sway.
The warmth of dawn meeting with her dark lover,
If only for an hour.
Soon the sky will be filled with morning gold.
Most peoples sun rise is at 6 AM
The skies go from dark to light and all the bright colors start to appear
MY sun rises with you
Without you everythings dark and I see no colors
You are my sun rise
OFF! The AC knob kisses the left tick.
DOWN! The glass sinks into a black sea of blazing leather
Hair, slicked back in the clasp of the alligator.
Her right foot eases off the brake.
It is time to begin my day
the sun is out and says "Hooray!"
I drag myself out of bed
I yawn and scratch my head.
Then I can hear the oven humming
and down the stairs I come running.
I wake up and feel the sun burning straight into my room
I know that my morning haze will loom
but with the encouragment breakfast gives me
I am able to be the best I can be!
When the sun hits my skin, it makes me smile with a glow.
No one will ever know how my skill feel unless they see my glow.
It gets attention and paparizzi on a daily because it glows so bring attention stays on it.
You will never know the feeling of freedom that surges down my spine,
The shiver that cascades through my veins,
As we race against time to make memories.

Yawning, the light of a passing day dips the horizon in an apricot die
She was my friend.
Blonde, green-eyed,
Fair skinned and delicate.
She was perfect in more ways then one.
And I fell for her.
She was a flower,
Beautiful and dainty.
Happy
Wanting to convey that taste of childhood...bliss,
Before it slips
Through
My hands gripping the bars-
I can't sleep but thats ok
Yesterday's become today,
Thinking about all I've had
Insomnia is not so bad
But each new dawn's a passing day
And passion has avoided me,
Still can't sleep,
I want the shoreline,
the foamy white waves
colliding
into rock
like soldiers sparring in battle;
the horizon brushed
with soft strokes
of lavender, rose pink and azure;
the low-toned
To my nightly lover:
You are just a phase I grow out of in the morning
and the excuse i come crawling back to at night
I never needed a reason to dream
You rant to the sky and lay blame to the earth, for it's gravity is keeping you from flying.
As passionate as you are, your fire starts to die as the sunlight begins to fade.
STEAL ME! Oh Turquoise Soleil,
Stuff me in your sack of toys to play.
OH just take me away in that Santa Clause bag.
Strip away my loneliness,
Give me to a friend.

In the land of everlasting night
The Sun and Earth twirl and sway
Spinning aroung in fantastic flight
The Earth basking in his glorious light
In a dance so graceful and gay
He stood resolutely,
In the winter cold.
The sun climbed behind him,
Glowing bright and bold.
The wind kicked up twigs and leaves
Long dead of chill,
His coat tails flickered up and down,
I've been down for so long
I forgot how to stand up
You told me to get up
So I can see the sunse
Ive been in the dark for so long
I forgot what it looked like
I was hesitant
You are the sun
That brings life to the land
From which I was gone
Now I'm back in your strand
The roses in my heart bloom
Smiles are sunrises and spring flowers.
They rise and grow from the joys of life.
So smile.
And bring beauty into this world.
The cold barren treesNo easy sway, but staunch in strife. No green from the leaves; No signs of life.
The sweetest kiss of twilightA crimson rose or threeLost in the moment loveA moment with out theeIs no moment at all The tender kiss of yours dearA crimson rose or twoLost in the moment love
The first of the month brings light to our lives, birds in their nests and bees in beehives. We know that summertime is coming up soon so were hustling and bustling and stressing about school.
I love you like the sun loves the earth,
It rises each morning just so it can gaze upon the earthly beauty,
Just as I awake every morning so that i may look upon your beautiful face.
My darling,
You are my world.
The Sun
and the Moon
together
raise the Earth.
The Sun, with her warm touch
keeps the Earth in place.
The Moon, with his strong pull
creates the tides to calm the Earth.
2 opposites
I could live without a phone.
I don’t need an Instagram,
I don’t rely on siri.
I could live without electricity.
The sun and moon shall light my way,
You are the sun
And I am the moon
And I think it is beautiful
That you set each and everyday
To watch me dance among the stars
And glimmer in the night sky
Using your light
To feel like this,
unhinged from a door keeping me hostage,
I can truly say now
that all of the marrigolds spotting the sun
are planted by the sound of my voice.
In my head,
The clouds detach themselves from the sky
and bind their bodies to the ground
Creating dew drops dropping down the grass
To awake in a fog, a misty glass
The affair doesn't last
They return to the sky
I find my mind will change itself.
My body will decay.
My thoughts, my dreams, my aspirations
turn to low vibrations and whither away.
All of these material things
that some hold dear to Heart...
Life without love is like the sun without the moon,
life without love is like a flower that'll never bloom.
Life without love is like a star that won't shine,
life without love is like a poem with no rhyme.
the poem series I wrote but never published - accumulated over about a year and a half.
If I were alone I'd wish I were home,
However home has nothing left for me.
I'd feel a strong bond to the times I went wrong and in regret I'd cry and plea,
please let me live, laugh!
Play in the bright
I feel relaxing,
As I look at the flowers
Colorful, cheerful, and bright.

another second of grace
beyond our space
of a lifetime.
Rebuked and

I enjoy this site.
It's a new means of self-expression that I enjoy.
Being able to write out what troubles me or stays on my mind for too long has been a great aid to me.
It gives me hope for a clearer mind.
I know I said I thought you were the moon
but right now you are shining
as the sun
I cannot sleep because you are there
My eyes closed you still burn through
The lids and layers of my skin crawling fears
I sowed seeds with love and hope
Scattered them on earth
Giving them lots of space
And warmth by burying it in soil
Nurtured it with manure and water
Sunlight and air will help me I was sure
Salty air.
Salty hair.
What is better than saltiness everywhere?
Sunkissed skin.
Sunburned nose.
You are the sun and I the moon. I am only a reflection of what you are. Constantly on a chase for even just a glimpse of you. I never see you but I know you're breathtaking. Not one person doubts your beauty, everyone in awe after seeing you.

Her, the person my heart longs for, day and night as the stars swing by.
Why? Because I love how her skin shines under the sun the same exact way it shines in a dark room,
As I wake up to the morning sky, I look upon the sun and ask myself why.
Why the sun rises with such fullness and brightness. Some see it as just a star, others as God's gift to the righteous.
The morning sun
Shining on my face
Blending in harmony
With my tears
Tears of pain
Tears of sorrow
Tears of hate
And some are just there
With every tear
What I would give to be in Wyoming.
Where mountains hug the sky
and the wind whispers stories of yesterday.
Where lakes mirror dusty pine trees
and Father Sun is close enough to burn sunflowers
You run with the moon to escape from the sun
But where are you going, what are you running from?
Is it truly the sun or the promises it holds?
The illuminating rays, the gleaming gold
You were the ray of sun that shone through my window with the early light of dawn
and I
merely the speck of dust drifting by caught in your luminescence
Illuminated by your glow, feebly dancing to catch your attention
He called me a hopeless romantic.
He said that I was naïve for wanting someone to love me like the sun loves the moon,
And he turned up his nose when I said that I wanted kisses like the stars because they are
Beyond the deep seas and endless skies
large mountains and countless stars
The moon rises among the crowded cloudsShows up for moments and with mist it shrouds
On a night in the summer,
I can remember
Large thumping boxes swapping waves of thrilling pulses to overtake the silence.
Joyous and primal,
I move through the drapes of large tents
Afraid of the light
Shy away from the sun
The moon is your sister
The raindrops are your tears
Sun, symbol of happiness
Shadows, symbol of death
Yet a sun will cause
This planet’s death
No matter human presence.
It’s strange, isn’t it?
Its warmth is needed for survival
But as soon as you reach toward it
As soon as you try to look at it a little more closely
You get burned
You're blinded
*This poem was inspired by Teva Mayer's "Autumn's Child." I loved it so much that I decided to write about his playmate.*
I am from croquettas de jamon,
From guava and cheese.
I am from sandy beaches heated by the bright, burning sun
(Beating, glistening, warming my skin, tasting like freedom)
The Sun
She brings us life and joy; despair
Her silent song a covenant of care–
Our faithful servant in the air
A gilded messenger, inasmuch:
Can You See?
Have you
ever wondered
how a cave
would react
if light
would stream in
unashamed?
Could you imagine
the things
you could see
In sunshine or rainIn pleasure or pain
In trial or triumphYou are my Godand You are enough.
You make the day,and end the night,Thank you Lordfor my religious rite.
Is today a good day?
Just because the sun doesn't shine today, doesn't mean it isn't.
The rain may bring a good day for someone who has a hard time finding fresh water.
I've aligned my mind, body and soul in perfect syzygy:
The Moon is my mind, projecting a faint glow in the darkest of places,
which still remains a mystery to even myself
Look
Look at everything around you
Do you see it?
See it all
From the way the ocean kisses the sand,
To the way the moon follows the sun
Isn't it awesome?
Look
A tree standing as a soldier on the front lines
dives into a burning ocean
of glorious flickers and flames:
A tree that does not make a sound,
because nothing is there to hear it splash.
You see, the problem is I have treated you as if you are the sun. And you are not the sun. My life does not depend on you, you are not in any way crucial to my survival.
Palette of gray starts the scene,
Hinting white, but never leaving black.
Find a section, add more white.
Now a drop of yellow, a touch of blue
Blending and dabbing, and then lastly,
Weeks on end this fog has not lifted
It blurs my vision and
my mind's nerves are racing
crashing, connecting, circling
tangling itself with this dense fog.
Today, the skies are gloomy
its the grass burrs stickig to your sock
its the way the water looks wen you skip a rock.
its the water glistening when the sun hits just right.
its how it looks even prettier reflecting th moon night.
Who is most infallible?
Perhaps it is Alexander the Great,
The man who owned the world,
Feared by all
Subject to none.
After 4 years I too will take the world by storm,
He is famous:
He is loud and bright.
People are forced to acknowledge the sight of his existence.
Without him, nothing would get done.
Everyone loves the beauty of his entrance and even his exit.
Sunny day
With a light rain
Calm, peaceful, beautiful
Suddenly, a strong wind rises
It gets stormy; wild
Violent weather, and the rain intensifies
The sky is dark
The universe holds so much. It is so much more than we give credit. It consumes truths and devours secrets. The stars are just as much of a mystery as the bottom of the ocean. The moon holds its truths on its darkest side.
I think the saddest word is maybe
Maybe I did It
Maybe it was not me
Maybe I will never admit
If I may be a good girl
Maybe I should wait
My gaze falls upon your radiant face
And all I can see is your flawless grace
When I am down you would make me smile
I hope that you will stay around for a while
Him.
He is all.
He is one.
He knew what would happen when time was done.
Time.
The time we live in does not last forever.
So how can one say that we will always be together?
It’s not a gift.
On a wet and windy noon,
I feel the rain and the pain as I run.
Aware that the day will end soon,
I return home after great fun.
When nights fall,
I sit in my room and fear
Oct 5 2014
The sun is sitting on the crown of the trees just due east. Reaching her arms through its leaves,
Holding it. Like a mother hugs her child.
Much like a woman is the sky.
In the afternoon she is there, attending to her daily routine.
She shines bright, yet is taken for granted most days.
As evening nears, the night is only just beginning.
Apples galoreCrisp fall airSunshine foreverplays with your hair.
Hay mazes andPumpkin patches.Again the world whorls.Your breath catches.
Before you splay down on the Earth, your mere anticipation chides all the small creatures,
Breaking out into song, leaping to streams, trotting across roads to find a warm safe thatch haven.
Now the summer has come and gone.
The school year starts like the break of dawn.
On the far horizon I see its glow.
What lies ahead? I do not know.
I'll find out soon, I have no doubt.
When the sun rises its bright, its early. its peacful. 5:45 is the time. What do i see, I see an advantage. I see a chance to get a head start, I see birds soaring, I see oppruntites. I believe there is more to accomplish.
A casual ray floating through the airIlluminating the deep caves of my sheetsPressing against my skin with delicate sincerityMurmuring to me to wake upAccompanied by the birds exquisite melodies
The days slowly creep past me, so suddenly
And as the deepest orange sunray peek upon the horizon before making its appearance.. I'm alive
Saw you again today.
Made me insecure because
I didn't know which I wanted to do more;
When you look me in eyes , i feel like melting away. When i dont talk to you , i feel like i cant go another day. The way you say my name, makes me want to jump with glee.
First time i saw her i thought nothing of it,
She was another face, among thousands.
Another body, among millions.
But a spark, a spark that would set my body on fire,
Her beauty was not striking, her body less so.
My sunlight,
you bring the daytime smiles
and keep them from slipping.
One table for two.
We wake from slumber
in a café of our own,
settled in the heat of blankets
How do others expect me to describe you?
How do you describe what growing feels like?
How do you describe what breathing feels like?
How do you describe what being asleep feels like?
O blindest me o forgotten one, thy eternal Re.
O achest me, take pity.
Mine eyes have been taken by thee.
On a clear night, I look up and think
that the sidewalk would rise vertical
so that I may walk
all those miles to the stars
and on a bright morning
as the sun still nudges the horizon,
On the first night of our secret meeting we can ran wild like the wind.
Just you and I and the moon.
The moon shined so bright it rivaled the sun.
Our sun, your light, my fire.
The sun sheds a tear for the moon,
and the moon for the sun.
For only a glimpse of the others is caught
before each must run.
The Sun rises.
Glory,
Happiness,
New Life.
The Sun moves.
Progress,
Change,
Lessons learned.
The Sun sets.
Hardship,
Upheaval,
Violence.
Under the Midnight Sun the Polar Bear hunts. Under the Midnight Sun the Seal flees. Under the Midnight Sun the Inuit watches the Northern Lights.
The Midnight sun
shines rightly in the dark
it brings hope through
the despair of the world.
When our species is summoned
Brought from the unknown
Where in is one's spirit shown?
It is hidden deeply within
only obviously felt when
you feel it radiating remembering where
Every summer Apollo paints
the canvas of Mom’s shoulders
with swirling galaxies of birth marks
that harmonize to form
a warm, textured glow—
a coded testimony of decades of sun lust
The world does not revolve around you
If so then the sun would shoot down like rain on a window pane
Tap Tap Tapping on your skin until you blister and boil
Oh such pain that i'll never know
I am chained in a cage. Exposed and vulnerable like a nerve.
But the joke is on them.
I may be trapped, but I'm not a captive.
The fire in me would make Hades run for the hills.
The sun is brighter than the moon
And I hope to see you soon
The sun is your beauty
The moon is your pain
I will look so sue me
Your smile holds my brain
With you there’s more to see
At night I feel sad because I lost my mother.
I feel sad because some people have one mother, and I have none.
Some people have two mothers, and that’s okay, but I still feel sad.
It was a long night...
What grief, what sorrow did fill my heart.
An ache unsatisfied with tears. Unsealing wounds.
The thickest blood does seep from daggers.
A kiss of death...Resurrection, I know.
Goodnight my loves Goodnight for long
To God I hope I'll see you all
To God I'll pray "let me see another day"
To God I hope that the sun will rise and the moon shall fall
And I will be there to experience it all
One day, my shoulders will give inDefiance will admit defeat, and they willDrop, like theBone-weary man wrapped around himself, shivering in the cold.
At the end of the day, when the flashback startsThe brilliant rays of the sun isall I’ll remember
Solar Flares and Moon Beams
All we hear are the children's screams,
Calling out for mom and dad,
All I have ever wanted was the Stars
Painted across my flesh and bone
Orion's Belt tight around my waist
My heart filled to the brim with light of the Moon
My eyes wicked like the wrath of Mars
I sat out behind the house for hourswaiting for something to come home.It has been days since the wind has blownand I have ingested the sun to show youhow bright I really am.
I've been known to think endlessly of the sun, burning so hot it feels like hellfire setting my heart aflame and searing through my veins. to obsess over the future,
Why are you lonely? You are beautiful and niceI will be your friendI am here for youWhen you feel like gray clouds andWhen you need sunshine
Th light of day gives to dark of night,
How can one overlook this tribune?
For even apathy has insight,
The sun serves you,
And offers a piece of its shame.
The sea is enslaved,
And sacrifices it's wonder in your name.
The sky is your thrall,
Love is family
Love is friends
Love is hard to pretend
Love is true
Love is dark
Love is strong with a spark
Love is me
Love is you
Love is very true
The risingof the glowis as its inverted settingand thought in writingis gone. The excitement
Sun, he rose in the morn.
This day the first he was born.
He whom created all,
could be our fall.
The sun in your heart
allows the moon in mine to glow.
And the warm winds of your breath
melt the winter in my veins.
The sunrise in my voice
stops the sunset in yours.
The sky inside you
I sit motionlessly, watching the bright rays of light dim over the horizon. I can hear the soothing sound of the waves striking the rocks, and the wet footprints running across the sand.
In my dream, you walked beside me
Along soft breeze and rolling sea
At sunrise, waves of sand churned free
Filling my heart with bliss and glee
Tell me the story of the sun and the moon.
Tell me how the sun,
So bright and radient, would die every night,
Curling tight
my back facing the sun
knees to my eyes
and hands held tight
feet tucked under
pressed into the wall
hiding
fearing
not willing to face the day
Those cool summer nights
Not a cloud in sight Catching fire flies The glisten in your eyesOut under moon lit skies Time sure flys bye On those summer nights
Oh sun, Oh sun
How he does rise
To watch the cheerful play,
See him illuminate the skies,
And hide before each day,
Oh sun, oh sun
What warmth he brings,
To ever leaf and flower,
You think the world revolves around you,
as most college professors do.
Really?
Hell, I have a lot more things on my mind than your class.
Tutoring.
Eating.
Working.
Surviving.
Daylight stands apart from cold midnight.
His warm smile—kind eyes—brilliance.
The touch of his hand warms our insides—
Keeps us safe—and– living right.
Midnight shakes the bones of Children.
My time is up,
There is no room,
The clock is stopped,
The sun is dead,
My time is gone,
The breath has fled,
There is no time,
I want to get a few tattoos
Mark myself with the beauty
Rather than the hardships
Of all my experiences
A sun on the front of my right shoulder
When I lay myself to sleep
I would always wonder what I'd dream of
Inspired to plunge into that process by the twinkling of the stars above
As I ponder, sleeping slowly creeps
Sometimes I wish I werea marigold,so faithful to the sunto rise alongside you,my center.& dusk--close my petalsaround the promiseof your return& never have to sleepalone again.
The summer's weather, blistering hot, does somethingno one ever thought. It twists the minds of those who gooutside to see the summer show. The sky so blue may hypnotize
Woke up this morning with a thought on my mind.
How the day will go, will I make school on time?
Greeted my family as I wandered the house with ease,
showered up, got dressed, it was absolute peace
Red light from our sinking star
fills the setting sky,
must it be that every night
the lovely sun must die?
The sun and a flower met oneday
admiring one another's beauty
and they loved each other, oh so much
that they were the other one's, truely
"Ive lost my way!" the sun proclaimed
Tonight I don't want to be seem by the moon. I prefer to wait until tomorrow and talk to the sun. Tonight I just want to by myself and count how often I have dressed up in gold to the rays of the sun and put on wine as perfume.
Each time I peered down the rabbit hole
I got a glimpse of a forgotten world
It’s dreamt about, but no one ever dares to go there
I wasn’t any better
Just an audience, a speculator from bird’s eye view
When the light from the Moon shines down on the clouds,
And the glow gives a silver sillouette to the grass,
I cannot help but stare at it's beauty,
And begin my adventure back to the past.
Why, my daisy,
Do your petals droop?
Fading, falling to the ground?
And why, my daisy,
Do you bow down to the wind
When gusts growl and roar with rage?
your heart is the altar at which i worship.
your kiss is holy wine.
the ocean is our church and the waves are our prayers.
Give me Spring in her finest
Dressed in dandelions galore
Today’s hazy sunset wearing
Winter’s breeze
Take it all away
Save the sun on my shoulders
As I run through the hills
Destroyed from the inside out,A tragedy sinners do not mourn. No pity for a star.
Here bright and burning,Here dark and cold,Alive as a star,Dead as a star.
Time ticks slowly, almost like my heart with out you
Just like the Moon, has to be away from the Sun,
I have to be away from you.
Every once in awhile you visit me in my dreams
A Pharaoh sits upon His sunny throne,
Surfeited,
Craven,
Oblivious.
The Clouds move in,
The Sun,
Veiled, hides beneath a layer
Of darkness.
Another day wasted.
A winter night beneath the full moon is all that it takes
To strike the longing heart with the sharp sword of sorrow
Gasping weeps to the night carried by tears that keep me awake
Prose
O starry night, brazen with chimera.Behind those cimmerian clouds breadthwith God's touch.
Imagine without frontier's and marvelat the shiploads of faith that navigatethrough stormy seas.
Concrete wasn’t always made so harsh and solid
In fact it was mostly straw
When I walk without my shoes on
It rubs my poor feet raw
Your goodness reflected in my eyes
When you began to rise
Soul reflected across the sky
I knew there my heart would lie.
Beautiful yellow and blue colors,
Warming me like electric covers.
Daylight shines forth
Dawn has come
Days light given birth
My time is shadowed
By the ever present night
But now I burst to light
Did we ask to be born into a world of such scorn,
They would surely mourn for the the old ideals,
Since those are no more,
This is a new world, a much more flawed world, but freer,
My mouth waters like the demon I struggle with becoming I think one thing is right so I jump into its fire Fuck my personal desire I'm stuck trying to work for you and in the progress I've stepped backwards into the second circle Goddamn I want to
Do not despair
in loneliness
be like the sun and the moon
(for even the sun and the moon meet to kiss)
wait for the right time,
wait for your eclipse.
The smell of spruce
The glistening fir
The cloudy cool
I know for sure
The gentle rain
It fills the air
It cleans the earth
It damps my hair
The mountains sigh
With refreshing need
Work my way into your mind
To contemplate the art of time
Complimenting the sublime.
The question in doubt,
couldn’t figure it out…
Can’t escape the run
All alone in a sea of despair
Until I realized I have the Sun
A sun I never realized was there
In a world full of darkness
there is always a light
The longer we linger, the harder the fight
I lean into the iron bars of my prison window, closing my eyes against the sunlight, a friendI've missed as if it were apart of me.The rays sink into my skin, making me feel whole again.
A waking soul of Western slumber rises
Eastward, from the depths of the nurturing wood,
Tipping over its goblet of honey,
And bathing the wild in glimmered ambience.
With the golden knight’s arrival, comes forth
a door opens,
but not by me.
responsibility

and receive
a fix, yet the problems

company to coupling
to troubling the waters
I think about you when you're not by my beside
You live miles away so that's almost all the time
Even worse we're going to college separate ways
Both hoping the relationship will never fade
Hands lock,
fingers curl.
Eyes twitch.
Just a few of the many things
we do together.
When walking on the beach,
seagulls high above us.
People waving hello as we get higher,
Good evening Moon,
How nice it is to see your face again.
The Sun, however, has fractured
and is silently
falling
to
pieces
The sun and the Earthboth complete oppositesyet needing each other. As gravity pulls them aparteveryday, struggling to betogether againAnd everyday, the Sun will come to kiss the Earth
You can be my sun
I’ll be your moon
Because you brighten my day
And in the darkest times I’ll show you the way
The sun shines over me,
Shining a great smile,
Shining like a spot light on the stars of our stories,
Twinkling a hello and a goodbye each day,
Many times a month I go outside and watch the forest
I watch the trees dancing in the wind
I hear their leaves whispering to me
I sometimes understand what they say
And other times I do not
The Sun is a man, I’m sure…
Shining for me, and only me, in the morning,
Sitting with me at the end of my day;
Comforting me, sometimes consoling me,
Mountain ridges arise from your back
Everything is broken
gloves on, real friends, fake friends
No Tongue
Raven at your window
get out get out get out
permanent, this
If I were tied to the
end of a kite,
I would fly high
in the sky
to see the stars rise
very beautiful and bright!
I would even make friends
with the moon, the stars,
and the sun,
Eyes in a haze
Rotund stomachs, child’s play
Smooth lawn, shaded concrete- taut, cool
Here I man my wagon
Tears erupt to greet the wind
Hairs along my cheek
Tongue on the edge of wet lips
Too bright
Too powerful
Her breath of morning,
Draws me in
Her earthy glow of noon,
Excites the melanin in my skin
Plants salivate at her flux of energy
Bruised, unripe; I lay, weeping, imperfect and alone, the toy missing wheels.
An unattained dream, fantasy, and hope, still sealed with putrid rubber cement.
You know what they say
a tiny ripple can change the day.
When scary moments pass
we know the sun will rise.
You can always see it
the slow change.
From perfectly fine
So God made the birds and the bees
He made these trees
He made you and me.
Not for all of us the destroy and tear them down.
We say we're big and bad, walking around like we own the place.
Superstorm Sandy took away my home.
She didn't take away the walls or the floorboards,
and my bed hasn't moved at all. But
She took away our light, for all of
seven solid nights.
The morning sun rises
The world begins to wake
I think of you and start to shake
If only life wasn't filled with surprises.
The morning sun rises
The world begins to wake
I think of you and start to shake
If only life wasn't filled with surprises.
The sun reaches his arms to the sky until the dark is gone.
Clouds help him up from the void, and he tickles them orange and purple. They pull him on.
Like sailing ships they scud on the wind waves, playing in the golden light,
Pulling my hair into a pony tail
I slip on my shoes
And out the door
I’m greeted by a cloudy sky
The air is thick from last night’s storm
Breathing in the morning air, I take
One step
Look how the clouds swirl in the sky.
A beautiful mess of orange, red, and pink.
They melt with the sun,
Leaving a bittersweet tint behind.
In my years of experience I never thought I'd cherish the light that rises in that wonderful horizon by the ocean. It calls out as if a new challenge was created simply for me. And I think of the secrets that will remain until the dawn of time.
Waiting and watching
for the sun to sink.
To witness the colors that will paint the sky.
All the different hues,
He saw light and its beauty
So he chased the sun
Only to watch the fire
fall
And never catch up
It’s forever been a struggle to meet in the middle,
The waves want to overtake the sand,
But the sand wants to hold their own
Constantly battling to have control
I went to the beach for a swim
Then left as the sun fell too dim
A man said to me
If I wait patiently
I will soon see the sun once again
You are the morning sun that shines;
I am the moon controlling the tides.
You blaze alone in a field of blue;
And I only shine because of you.
You’re bright enough to glow through clouds;
How I love the night
Darkness surrounds me
Cloaking me in a deep sheet of stars
A mysterious never ending shadow
An intoxicating view with brilliant stars
The feeling it gives is everlasting
Can you feel it?
The warmth of the sun
the waves rolling with fun
The way children sit,
looking at the seashells they just collected,
Look a crab, walking along the shore
The cold water hits my feet
There is a fire in the sky!
A beautiful arrangement of clouds burning alive!
Celestial inferno! You have come to call for me
With a blaze of Inti’s fire!
the sun
the sun is very bright
its hot like a dynamite
the sun is large
its bigger than my garage
the sun
Sometimes the sun likes to steal kisses from the moon.
He’ll reach up over the horizon and trail
his fingers down the pale curve of her side,
make her shiver and tremble high in the sky.
Your warmth is like the sun: it radiates, everyone around feels you beaming
You suspend yourself in the sky, far away from me, and everyone else
I’m out there, too, like the moon I’m hidden by your light
As the sunrise creeps over the horizon,
Its colors are like a box of crayons.
The sunrise peeks up and then shows its head,
As the sun ready for a new day.
Where yellow flowers bloom,
The sun sets below the trees
Winds blow a selfless tune
An awakening of light from the moon
But the glow is just a tease
Where yellow flowers bloom
The pedals become immune
The sun in east it stands alone,
And rays of day again they shone.
Rising up to face each day,
Looking for lost yesterday.
The moon he seeks but cannot find,
Always, Always on his mind.
Foolish rains,
why do you fall
from the heavens up above?
Why abandon your seat
in the endless skies
Is such freedom not enough?
As she rests her warm head on the reserved meadow I wait.
As she descends I look ahead, waiting for you,
Your imperfections, your craters that comfort me so tightly,
As she descends I wait.
We watch the sky turn,
lustrous blue to slate black, hiding behind
jagged mountains, the bright, gleaming sun
now sleeps, closing its exhausted eyes.
The arise of the full glowing moon
What would I do?
Only if you wanted me to,
I would chase down the Sun for you, spending my lasting days chasing a setting Sun.
For why would I wrangle in the moon?
What would I do?
Only if you wanted me to,
I would chase down the Sun for you, spending my lasting days chasing a setting Sun.
For why would I wrangle in the moon?
Limits, limits
They seem so fucken fun!
In actuality they make me want to run
Run into the sun
Away from restrictions
as the sun rises,
fiery cracks on the moonlit sky
the cold breath of morning is washed away
leaving the sweet silhouette of stars to fade
Why do you have to go oh sunset
Thou is so beautiful
Thy hates to see doth leave
Oh sunset doth leave to soon
Oh thy wish doth would stay
Sunset please stay forever
But for thy must know you have to go
I saw the sun
Glorious, bright, everlasting
Beauty, power, fire, omnipotent
Life, Death, omnibenevolence and necessity
Coaxing flowers to bloom
Setting fire to barren land
Duality
Life and Death
Wake up to the smell of fresh cut grass.
Close your eyes and soak in the sun through your window.
Savor each moment, not wanting time to pass.
Thinking how warm you are, listening to your neighbor mow.
If I could see over this farmed hills,
I wouldn't have to be afraid of life's thrills.
I am here for you brother-man
Here to lend a simple hand.
It's like this
so quickly we miss
what things we try to remember
the things we have forgotten
and so I look on over the lives of those age has forgotten
The sun parts the shade and rays of light rest peacefully on my cheek. The glint and shimmer of the light echoes all around and breaks the darkness of shadows and gloom. They shout with joy and dance and illuminate and set the world ABLAZE.
Always in constant wonder of everything
But especially
The sun, the sun, the sun
Bright, warm, fantastic, beautiful
Few words can describe the feeling it gives me
It fills my heart, my mind, my body
Love is like a sunset, the bittersweet moments
of when the sun says goodbye to the world
It’s how the colors of the sky turn with it’s benevolence
Like your heart when that beau caught your eyes dream-world
Let us go to the beach and have fun
We can play all day in the sun
Just be careful not to burn
Or bright red you will turn
A sunburn would hurt a ton
He asks for the first dance
She submits and takes his hand
He fell for her at first glance
She can barely even stand
He delights in her cold embrace
She listens to his heartbeat
