All Night

Stay up all night

Can’t handle tomorrow

Rather dance in the dark until my legs are weak and my head is spinning

I’ll say I put up a fight

Against the second hand ticking in my mind

Tried to lull the sun back to sleep

And despite how hard I try

the dark tucks me in

Wraps my hair

Closes my eyes

And I wake with the sun

And wait another night to dance again
