Sun
Light
Living in my skin
When daylight reaches past 8
And arises before 7
An axe splits open my shell
A familiar coffin of cobwebs
Spun in shadows and doubt
Sealing me in despair
I wander blind through dark months
Will someone kill the groundhog please
Light
Come and find me
I want to feel the sun
Surrounded by rain chill & soft lofty clouds
Let me be free
Bring me out into a spacious place
Where everything is green
This poem is about:
Me
