The Palette Scene

Palette of gray starts the scene,

Hinting white, but never leaving black.

Find a section, add more white.

Now a drop of yellow, a touch of blue

Blending and dabbing, and then lastly,

To fix this piece and creation,

Antiquity is the key for perfection.

Now "what is the finished piece?" you ask.

it is only the shy old sun

And his friends that accompany him,

Together watching silently as tiny beings

Below them start the new day.
