Patience

I sowed seeds with love and hope

Scattered them on earth

Giving them lots of space

And warmth by burying it in soil

Nurtured it with manure and water

Sunlight and air will help me I was sure

Daily I visited them with hope in my heart

But it was not sprouting

I gave up hope

Thought I am unlucky

Or I don’t have green fingers

Then one day

A little shoot I saw was coming out

And realized, what a fool I am

I forgot to give it time

Wanted it to grow at my will

Everything takes its own time

To grow and prosper I learned

And  learned one more thing

Gardening needs one more ingredient

Which is most essential

And that's a lots of patienc~ Indira
