Evaporation

The sun, a splinter,

Breathed the light,

Touching the eye

 

(Blue).

 

... Shows dew as it is,

Yet not its becoming.

 

Sun, eye wide

—Earth, thief found—

 

Gives back to the sea

As if to bargain for mercy.
