Never Stopping

Location

I want to get a few tattoos

Mark myself with the beauty

Rather than the hardships

Of all my experiences

A sun on the front of my right shoulder

by my collar bone

Tiny and in black ink

I long to be your sunshine

And that will make me whole

The second on my ankle

a blue rubber glove

don’t get to involved

and stay clean of trouble

A final one across my ribcage

A needle of a compass pointing to North,

simple and clean

To remind myself to move on

Move forward

And never stop.
