To Me You're the Sun Part 2
To me you're the sun,
And you're right that it's fun,
Now in exactly the way that you'd think.
Like stretching out just right,
In a puddle of light,
With a snack, a book, and a drink.
To me you're the sun,
When I'm outside a ton,
With enough sunscreen to last me a week.
Catch me running through flowers,
I could stay here for hours,
How you shine as you rise to your peak.
To me you're the sun,
When the day's nearly done,
I lay back and watch God paint the sky.
You glow crimson red,
As I slide into bed,
And I ask, "Just how lucky am I?"
