The Sun

As the sunrise creeps over the horizon,
Its colors are like a box of crayons.
The sunrise peeks up and then shows its head,
As the sun ready for a new day.

The sunrise stretches, reaches up above
‘Till the whole sky is filled with the colors of happiness.

As the sun goes up,
The moon hides
To go to sleep
Until night rises again.

As the world starts humming,
The sun sighs;
For the beauty of the sunrise
Is lost in the big blue sky.

As time goes by, the sun takes its climb;
Because it knows that soon colors will shine.

The sun takes its bow,
And the colors cover the sky,
Letting the world know
That the sun says good bye
Until another day
