Sleep

When I lay myself to sleep

I would always wonder what I'd dream of

Inspired to plunge into that process by the twinkling of the stars above

As I ponder, sleeping slowly creeps

As the sun shines on my face wondering if its real or fake

suddenly seeing my mother pass by

filled with great joy, I greet her but she does not reply

being in pain and distraught, my mind and my heart begins to debate...

As I continued to stare her with confusion, suddenly i looked and saw the sky open up

her wings spread as she flew herself to the sky

water filled my sadden eyes

my mouth shut without any words, I couldn't say much

to surreal this must be a dream that I see, still wondering what I'd dream of when I lay myself to sleep
