"Daylight stands apart from cold midnight."

Daylight stands apart from cold midnight.

His warm smile—kind eyes—brilliance.

The touch of his hand warms our insides—

Keeps us safe—and– living right.

Midnight shakes the bones of Children.

She keeps us inside during Winter.

Fear is her game. Claw-like fingers chill spines—

Makes skin crawl—makes Sin right.

Universal battle rages—Day and Night.

Without Light, Dark can live—peacefully.

Dark—with light—dies on contact—hides away.

Sins and Saints exist—not—together.

The Sun’s warm face—glowing delight.

The Moon’s cool complexion—oozing evil.

Deer and bats. Owls and Blue-jays. Living battle.

Day and Night—Sun and Moon.

Together they make a perfect place.

Perfection can’t ever exist on Earth.
