When I look at paper I think of this cruel world,
Separated by race,
Unlined by unity,
Words not being fit well for the community.
Two lines separating each side,
We have seen the loss,
of countless lives.
The world hasn’t seen peace,
Since man first breathed.
Peace? What does it mean?
Do you know how scary it really isTo see a child begging for a mother’s kissBut you don't have the guts to tell him the newsHe'll never get it all be
They say that the war between good and evil is a war that can never be won, that where there is light, darkness must come. I’m not saying that shadows are bad, that darkness is wrong, orshould be exiled, I’m saying that darkness is not the name t
I was standing in a river gently flowing, the fish were nibbling my toes right below me. The breeze on my face was so soothing, it felt as if I had nothing worth proving. The singing of birds was music to my ears, draining my sorrow and relinqui
Oh, when will we see the land of the free
There is a war not away
But right in the streets
A place of division
And fear of police
Oh, the need to come together
Oh, when will we see the land of the free
There is a war not away
But right in the streets
A place of division
And fear of police
Oh, the need to come together
And fight for the peace
I'm not proud to say I'm from here,
because I really disagree.
Mr. President have you forgotten?
What is humanity
The problems of America are not rooted in our laws.
They are rooted in our human nature,
Where one cannot look at life through another eye's,
And therefore can never understand what they have to endure.
Where has my world gone?
The one who once was innocent,
the one who once was naive.
Has gone down the rabbit hole.
He questioned everything
which brought trouble.
My heart goes out to those
Who have loved and who have lost
To the ones who did nothing
And yet still paid the cost
The cost for what, their
We sit around the table
While the fire dances in the air
Silence filled the room like a swimming pool filled with water
Eyes connecting
Hands grip tightly on one another waiting for something to be spoken
Is world peace
Fought with a loaded piece
Am I supposed to live at ease
I’m asking the higher priest
but he aint got the answers
Peace is layred
At it's heart it is calm and tranquel
An inward serenity that can produce an outward glow
That can be seen by all who gaze upon the peaceful individual
It spreads from one to another

Wheres is the peace?
People are slaughtered, killed, and abused and only some bat an eye.
It takes something big or close to home for anyone to get up and fight for change.
Darkness stood
in the fathomless night
Black but for the artillery
shells exploding against the sky.
Silent but for the steel
stinging through the air.
Whole boys, whole companies,
The feeling of warmth
comfort
solidarity
The first feeling of an infant
with it's new mother
Every person's
Make love, not war
“War” is just another word,
It kills, harms, and hurts
Risking lives, hurts worse.
I love that you
stand taller than me
your soul
is the closest thing to heaven
I've ever felt
God knew that
so he built you
accordingly
Bury me where the water is clear
where there is no hate or talk of despair
I want to know what that kind of life is like
for a soldier who stood fighting
an unknown right.
I stole pack a cigs from the store
I took off for the chase
No weapons on me by any chance
My homeboy running with me we got away
Then we see a cop so stop
Nerves running down my body
So this is battle, this is war.
Take up your weapons, and kill some more.
Here we march to the field to fight.
We'll make widows and orphans upon this night.
The enemy pours in like a flood,
If I ever have a son
His name would be Light
But they would call him King
I'll make him laugh
So the world could hear him giggle
One of his many names would be Simple
The skies go to war when the clouds are silver
all through the land you can hear the cracks and roars
see the anger flashing in the sky
destroying everything in the wrong place and the wrong time
