Savor The Moments

Savor The Moments

we can see through a lens
something you can depend
shattered glass on the pavement floor
gone are the days to frolic in a haze
today I'm as a mouse stuck in it's maze
Take me back to a time well spent
When you hit the baseball thinking you were Bucky Dent
wouldn't care in what you said or did
threw an M80 under a garbage can lid
when you went to the mall with friends
having so much fun with the hope it would not end
look above to the heavenly love
merciful one take this chip off my shoulder
stop the senseless fighting before are nation grows colder
savor each memory that may come your way
filter through the notion of weekends in the Cape
a blind date
