Thank you!
For being the moon in my dark nights,
A good afternoon in the bad days,
The best mom as always...
The rest can't fit in this page,
You don't get tired with age.
None won't be as real as you,
Remember how when you were little you would scrape your knee
How you would run to mommy crying
How she would kiss your “boo-boo,” put a bandaid on it and it would be all better?
Light shone on me in the earliest youth
I grew up and learned the truth,
Crazy enough life may laugh,
At the things you say, at your made up tasks.
At age 12 they started to make sense
Dear mom and dad,
I know you always wanted the best for me.
Giving me everything I always need, so I try and make you proud.
Living your dream through me, graduating from college and having all I need.
I'm thankful for you, Momma,
You light up my life,
I love you like Obama,
through struggle and strife,
Hey Momma, you rock.
You are my rock.
My socks: you rock them.
Hey Momma, oh Mommy Momma
I hate what I see
When I look at you.
When I look at me.
That reflection staring back at me
Makes me want to
Puke my soul out
And scream my heart out.
“You disgust me.”
Dear Mom,
It’s dark
I can’t see you
I can hear you
Your voice soothes me
I know you didn’t want children
But here I am
The wind is on my face
So is the ice cream
Because I love you,
I look you deep in the eyes
I hold my head up high,
When I'm standing by your side
Because I love you,
I laugh all the time,
I can be myself
And I never have to hide
Mommy, look at me, look what I can do.Say any word and I'll spell it, I'm smart just like you.
I'm sorry I was bad. You hate me? Is that true?I promise I'll be better, Mommy, tell me what to do.
Inability to communicate
To Elaborate
To Speak
It is quite a terrible fate
One which should not be cursed
Even upon those that you hate
Yet here I was
Crying
You're still pretty in the rain like sunflowers in the field
Even when your petals droop, yellow you are still
Dear Mommy,
I don’t know why
Daddy yelled at you today
Or why he threw those things
But I was scared for you
I covered my eyes
And your smile made me forget
just a moment later.
I don't need a big mansion
Nor a lot of money
I don't need fancy clothes
Nor a brand new car
I don't need fame
Nor the glory of it
All I need is love
Whether it's family
A soulmate
I love my mommy I love my daddy
I can't wait to see them
Everyday my little heartbeats faster and stronger
But mommy hasn't realized I'm here
Mommy stop! Mommy no! Don't talk like that I love you!
She would waddle to the kitchen for a snack while you would lie on her bladder
Doctors told her she wasn't strong enough, she didn't care
I was born into the world
Not too long ago
18 years to be exact
Growing older every day
And Since I was little
I've though so little
On How I'm not how I expected
Mommy please don't let me go,don't let me be your second prioritybecause, for 14 years you'd left mebefore I could see you;my mother who'd brought me here
There are many times where a parent can screw up
But there are also chances for them to make it right.
The disappointment builds like change in a cup
I wish I could forgive her with all my mite
Riding for miles, Your perfect smiles,
Silent conversations, Innocent flirtations,
The hot, sunny days, They passed me in a daze,
Mindless texts, Not knowing what comes next,
Sometimes we disagree,
But that’s okay.
To be perfectly honest,
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
You’re always there,
You’ve helped me grow,
And you always know what to say,
We come from troubled wombs , our homes resemble tombs.
We come from polluted souls , our livess resemble holes.
Empty and devalued , longing for the close.
My hero I'm waiting on a different Superman though. He doesn't have a cape, doesn't fly with special powers. He's definitely not invincible. My Superman is my Mom.She wears scrubs and works 70 hour weeks. She saves the day, there is no denying, the va
Give Something... Give What?
What is there to give,
What do I give,
What can I offer,
that every person doesnt already have
Give Something... Give What?
What I would give is promise
Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
"I want to grow up, Mommy,
And be just like you."
Roses are red
Turns into vodka is blue.
"Mom get away, what are you doing,
Mommy, dear, where have you gone?
Please come back and be my mom.
It's different here at home without you.
Please come home Mommy, I need you .
Mommy won't you please come home?
Her eyes show unconditional love,
she's assertive but she gives great hugs.
She's short, but she can still reach the stove.
She's an excellent cook.
She buys us things, like books.
Don’t you miss it mommy
The fights and the lying and the crying
Don’t you miss it mommy where everyday ill ask you to go places and you would say no
Don’t you miss punching me when I miss behaved?
I look at who I am today, 15 with no where to stay
I here the doors slam shut
daddys calling mommy mean tells her to shut up
A Face,
In the mirror,
Can't be mine-
Too much experience,
Too little time.
Cold eyes,
Not a wife,
And barely a mother,
Of a dear child who needs her.
Daddy, Daddy look at me
Watch me as I fly
More and more I’m gaining speed
As I soar through sky
Mommy, Mommy how I see
you below me now
I’ll come and have a looky
When I can swoop down
