A Face,
In the mirror,
Can't be mine-
Too much experience,
Too little time.

Cold eyes,
Not a wife,
And barely a mother,
Of a dear child who needs her.

A baby herself,
Baby burn, Baby burn-
Scorned by the labor,
Shaded by the birth.

No longer new,
Departed Youth,
Lost the me,
Getting lost in you.

Chaos colored,
A different world,
A love so deep,
Give me more.

No longer new,
But never old,
Much more dear,
Not so cold.

Still lost, but making maps,
Color from black.

Mother and Daughter one in the same,
Still a blessing, and none to blame.
