Laying in bed,
Conflicted,
Sleep not entering your head,
Twisted.
Thinking of what,
Tomorrow brings,
Thinking of what,
Tomorrow could lead.
It's a Step up,
Sweet romance
Running in fantastic lines
Agreeing with magical future
In embrace of miraculous now
We dream to heal
Annual pilgrimage beginsthousands flocking to our doorsbraving elements of chancewhat does new year have in store? As they enter our domainsobedient to adverts’ beckoningis there hope for addled brains
The opportunity to do what others can’t
Inspires me to win.
This might come off strange and self-serving.
Some might call it a sin.
One thing that can never be disproven,
Is that time one way or another,
Will always keep moving,
The clock on the wall,
Will forever tik onward,
That is why my motto,
Is to always move forward,
Sea shell at the bottom of the wave
water crashing down
forcing it to be brave
as the watchers
sit at the beach
one decides to take a leap
a step
into the wave
to save that shell
At least once in your lifetime
you have or had a duty
Because someone else depended on the deed
You always called everything about me pretty.
If my lips are pretty why'd you ever taste the pair of another as if you were sampling flavors?
Did you get tired of the same old flavor?
"Lucy,
Lucy,
No."
She whispers to her hands.
She cries to the company.
We stare,
curiously,
judgementally.
When I have lied to myself and others for so long,
It is hard to see who is wrong,
We could lie to ourselves like we always do,
But since I have had so much more pain to go through,
Hast thou been to Paradise?
He asked me as I rolled the dice
In a small game of chance.
That word does not suit my fanc'.
Nothing is certain, I say,
Nor Heaven, nor Hell, nor Purgatory.
salut, mon petit!
that's how i greet you
since we're both french minors
and we're both multi-ethnic
and we grew up in the same hometown
and we were born 11 days apart
I'm incapable of feeling fear.
I know everyone gets chills down their spines when the violins screech in a horror movie.
He has stumbled upon the girl, the goal of his lifetime.
With an eternity of waiting, the two souls became one,
Swiftly, under the golden shine of dusk in the summertime.
I am dizzy but not fainted,I am scrubbed raw, but I am tainted,I am despised, I am hated,And these are the things I wish weren't true,I've hurt those around me,Been the person I never want to be,
I live in fear
That one day
One day
We will die
No, not just one
All of us.
I Live in fear
Knowing that
It never stopped hurting,
Every moment of every day,
the pain engulfed her;
It was hard for her to believe,
The one person who she loved,
Gone, never to return;
Her eyes searched for him,
One thought: I get one search each day.
I search and search in hope of that simple thing:
The privilege to love, and the honor of being loved
By another.
Fear.
A devil straight from hell
Causes anger to swell
Fear.
A demon
With long wings
Laced with blood
Dripping down
Like a butterfly after rain
The eyes
All I need is a chance.
A chance to answer your questions-
After I’ve given you the context
Before you force out what you want to hear
After you understand where I’m coming from
Looking into your eyes
So deep, and clear, and bright
Gives me a sense of peace
That things will turn out right
I lose myself to you
Coincidence has destined my ironic fate,
Like star-crossed lovers who act too late,
Before I even drew my first breath,
Providence recorded my imminent death
Fortune allotted to me my share,
I begin to drown in an ocean of blue, only to realize I've forgotten my life jacket.
These eyes, they take me without invitation.
I'm sucked into a whirlpool that leads to an endless gaze.
You are so lucky to be here
Living on this Earth,
For all the odds indicate
That you would never have lived here
On this tiny speck
In the middle of nowhere
In the cold depths of space.
All I've got is a name
And that's all I really know
All I've got is a feeling
And it won't let me go
Your eyes took a hold of my heart
With a first glance
And I try to hide
The look on my face
The last day before your good Goodbye
I do hope to see you one more time
Dreamt of the time to pass and say Hi
Heart pounding, face flushed
a crushing headache bum-rushed
Breath ragged, star-crush
the holy theme of hush hush
Ain't given a chance
For romance
With education
Ain't worth living
Without giving
To this nation
That doesn't want
No talk
About immigration
Especially those without legality
Our footsteps like a discord home
For dying leaves and infant blades
We trace them back to winter world
When wind was chance and chance was change
A single line converges here
When darkness takes over,
Our nightmares come to life.
Who's time will end next?
A mere roll of the dice.
Fate is a religion for those who hate chance.
But be it random or precise,
Wake up! The sound of your mother yelling your name as you smell the fresh coffee being cooked. So you while you’re getting dressed and doing your making up listening to music you hear beep beep a sound I set on as an alarm for Facebook.
To some, it will never matter where you came from
It only matters how much you make in the now
Why could they care about the past?
Everyone is so focused on the future and the present
I have this fear deep down inside of me, it's so deep that no one else can see. It causes so much grief, sometimes it makes me wanna change my beliefs. So I stand high and stay strong but then tick, tick, boom I'm wrong.
Back up
No take up
I'm called up
To being shut
Down to the quarrels
They're all gone, the morals
There's a light
Always in sight
Calling someone's name
Shining bright
Luck sits watching the world, She along with her mate. Serious he sits by her side, The all-seeing Fate. And below them both, Their four children dance around. Chance, Destiny, Karma, and Fortune Occasionally stop to glance down.
Giving the world a better place to live,
Imagining the people living in peace,
Viewing the world through each other's eyes,
Enemies no longer exist have hate to give.
Small, shy and scared of the world
You were teased, humiliated, embarrassed
No one stood up for you, they just laughed along
With a bruised tear stained face you go home, crying yourself to sleep.
You see that person,
you had a past,
you wish it didnt end that way.
You wish that it couldve last
but you realize you wouldve messed it up anyway.
But if there was another strike
Being black shouldnt discriminate, unike any other.
Being brown shouldnt mean i have to drown in this society.
Being brown should enable me to get a crown, just like any other.
Being black shouldnt be a set back.
You and me,
We had amazing memories,
Staying up listening to Miley,
Talking about our parties.
Blaring out to your music,
Singing to the lyrics we know,
You yelling at me to choose it,
Look at me, and all the mistakes I did.
I wasn't thinking that night, and now he left me.
But look at you, my beautiful baby girl.
You've given me a chance to start over.
I promise to make you proud.
Miraculous pity isn’t it so?
Gingerly anticipation!
My gloved hands pulsing, to know…to not know…
Tails lack an end of extermination.
Should chance toss elsewhere- then off with her head!
I want to love you,
but I feel like we rushed.
Two months went too quickly.
It left me thinking, "Is this lust?"
You said it was more,
and with me you did agree,
and getting "us" back
Feet on ground
Head in the sky
Making plans for the future
When I am barely getting by
Just happy to be smiling
So lucky to be alive
Whether money grows on trees
Or I am begging on my knees
One time One shot
One chance for the top
I try to give it all, everything that I have got
Seems my souls on the line
So... I take my time to shine
Taking a chance on life and will not waiste no time
Walls all around
Tears fall on the ground
Black is all i see
Fear wells up inside of me;
but there is always hope in view
A chance to start anew
Obstacles constanly stand in the way
Wisps of air pranced through the blades of grass under the creek
And danced atop the dorsal fins of the creatures of the deep
And found under the surface of the water
I can see it
Far away in the
Distance it waits
And so I run
Run toward what sits
So far away
I don’t stop
Don’t slow down
I keep pushing
Faster and faster
Forgive me God,
My lord and savior.
For I have done things,
opposed to your favor.
But this you know,
and this you have seen.
So it is no secret-
My soul is unclean.
Going to school is hard.
Going to school is fun.
When I look back, I think of what I've done.
~the Grass isn’t always greener
but it’s hard when we don’t see the hell
im glad i rely on my sisters and brothers
instead of watching friendships sail
hope no one looks at my life as perfect
Love lives with no worries about who it will love next.
Nor do it worry about who loves the best.
Its the perfect role model for moving on from the past.
Its mistakes are lessons learned and carried over from the last.
Near death experience
never again do I want to encounter
Foolish was I,
putting our lives
confronting the eyes of the Reaper.
