May 16: Adjuration - A solemn and earnest appeal to someone to do something

At least once in your lifetime

you have or had a duty

Because someone else depended on the deed

Or you depended on the deed

So did you do it?

How did you do it?

Did you do it with heart

Or sincerity?

Have you done it again

Or was it something never to be done again?

I hope whatever you did

Was worth it?

It must have changed your life completely

Change, as in

You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t do it.

Why did you do it?

Was it because you had a sense of duty

Or did you do it because you wanted to?

Were you influenced

Or did you do it because you wanted to?

Whatever you did

Whatever you had to do

I hope you don’t regret it

Or perhaps you haven’t done it

Are you waiting?

Shucks, I’m waiting too

I claim to be planning

It’s a half-truth

You must be planning, too

Maybe, you’re not

Maybe, you’re conflicted

Maybe you’re at a crossroads

Which way should you go?

What will you do then?

How will you find out?

Flip a coin?

Heads, you go right

And tails, you go left?

So you flip the coin,

But you don’t show yourself the answer immediately

Are you afraid of the answer?

Isn’ the suspense killing you?

So you take your palm off.

Heads.

You go left.

The coin doesn’t matter now.

It doesn’t matter

Because you know what you need to do.
