Love is love

“Gender doesn’t define love.”

Why is it people judge what they don’t understand?

Homo, faggot, dyke, queer!

Out of all the pain we mostly hold in fear.

We endure and we take all we can.

We twist, snap, and eventually we bend.

We try to fit in, and we try hard!

But no one is happy with what they see.

We continue to think, “no one will be happy with the true beauty inside me.”

Fight! Fight! Fight! That’s all we are best at!

The harder we fight the more pain we take in.

Don’t tell me it will be ok!

It will never be ok!

Because we are fighting an endless battle.

All our attempts for acceptance will be futile.

Love will continue to be love.

Pain will continue to be pain.

We are who we are, and no one can take that away.

So tru, love is love and thats how it has to been seen as. It shouldn't matter if a man is with another man or a woman seeks to lay with another woman, nor does it matter if one feels if she or he is not who they seem in reality's eye. Just because it might be an life style or a life chooice, shouldn't change the fact we're all human beings who seek the love of one another; yet might just get that down fall call hurt and pain from it. We all go to sleep and wake up seeking and wanted more, so why should that change who we are defined as a person. Love is love and truth is the truth, but naive people will also see love as the pain that shatters and destorys; instead of the beauty that its true form comes in...
