Focus and fearless as an owl
cunning as a snake
she always wears pure white,
I tell the tale of a family
violent and free and unpredictable
No soul would believe they existed in our everyday lives
Where have the Old Gods gone?
Athena walks around college campuses
Books in her bag
And a switchblade under her tongue
There once was a woman,
with skin like cream and features fair,
with eyes of emerald green;
with a robust body and fine gold hair.
Was it worth the cost?
Yes.
Athena stands her ground a vicious smile painted on her glowing skin.
All the fighting
All the screming
Athena stands on the front lines
Forever battle ready
Armed with words and a shield of silence
She's going to break down the enemy.

Ruler of all
your Wisdom Goddess

her daughter, a virile

Athena is the embodiment
of valiancy
my hair used to be my most prized possession
(so i cut it shoulder-length and dyed it black)
as were my dignity and worth, but right now
She found me in pieces,
Broken in an alley.
Picked me up,
Carried me home and gave me a bed to rest in.

How big her knowledge,
who cares they say, pretty being her only way to success
- yet they say she's a mess.
A working woman,
disregarding the modern day Aphordites.
A virgin, she didn't need a man,
protector of Athens, she didn’t need a baby.
Enter Athena, a woman of might,
a popular Pinterest queen in her own right.
Her crafts were unrivaled and really quite clever,
and everyone thought her reign would be forever.

But yet she was found guilty
Devoted to making society a better place,
The Story of Medusa (at college)

I have one thing on my mind
Medusa
The most beautiful, sexy girl that has ever stepped foot on campus
Sarpedon couldn't get its head around
A woman who wanted to stand her ground
After a non-consensual encounter.
But Medusa didn't let it discount her
For sexuality isn't "corrected."
Athens high school was home to some of the best and most talented gods and goddesses in all of Greece. This high class school was home of Zeus, Poseidon, and Aphrodite.
Mythos,
Legend or not?,
Kings and Queens forgotten?,
Seek thy legends and stories of realism,
Dare we look upon ....the twelve Olympians?
Hence the age of 2019,
Medusa wasn't cursed
she was protected
her Goddess wanted to give her the world
but when men take without mercy
Athena did what she thought best
even if Medusa was hurting
To hell with what cinema says,
Nobody wants pieces and shards and
Broken glass is intimidating
And a waste of time.
You get your hands dirty and cut
God drifts his fingers
Through Spider nest clouds as their
Creatures scatter down.
Scurrying feet and
Panic induced webs trickle
She walks with confidence,
Her heels clicking with each step,
She blows a bubble as pink as her lips,
Her petticoat swishing side to side,
Sweet Arachne
why must you boast so?
Sweet Arachne
your talent can only go so far.
To offend the goddess
in such a manner.
Have you no shame?
No?
You say you could best Athena?
Eyes like Storms,
Secrets churning in their depths.
Emotion; chained.
Encased in glacial stone.
Arrogance incarnate
In his Golden Crown.
Athena’s blessing
Behind his brow.
