Watching You

Location

I see your tears everyday and just want to hold you tight,
I hear you when you cry in your pillow every single night,
I watch you go to work and whisper I love you in your ear,
Yet you keep on walking like you never really hear.

I know you stare at my bedroom door, you stand there and shout,
I still hear you when you scream in your pillow, mom let it out,
I know you go through my closet, you never put my things away,
Mom why are you doing this, you know I want to stay,

You never call your friends, they don't know what to do,
Mom please don't think that, it really wasn't you,
Things happen for a reason, you of all people should know,
Mom, I love you so very much, I really didn't want to go.

I talk to you all the time but you don't listen to me,
Mom, I don't know how to make you see,
You're the reason I know the things I do,
Mom, our love is the strongest, I love you,

It was the other person, who didn't think about the law,
Mom it was your face, that's the last thing I saw,
He lost nothing, he still has his kids, his house, his wife,
Mom blame him, he's the one who took my life.
