I’d say it in person, but I fear rejection

Because when a student speaks out there’s surely ejection

You ask who I am, just look at my friends

I stay true to my values while others change like trends

I excel in school and I refuse to stop  

The education my teachers provide is my blueprint to the top

The school system is flawed there’s need for transformation

While others care for sex and drugs I want an education

One teacher in the classroom just won’t suffice

Hire more teachers because education has no price

Longer class periods would ensure students understand

Students want to learn we just need a helping hand

If the student hasn’t learned the teacher hasn’t taught

It’s not the capability of the child, but the education’s fault

I’m speaking out like a beastly creature

These are the things I can’t say to my teacher
