Disappear for a while and allow yourself to remember who you are,
Allow yourself to embrace every single one of your scars.
Remember who you truly are and where you have come from,
Its just another night and Im starin again at the moon.
Lookin at the stars, Remembering of how we've been through.
Its just another night without you.
i will never wish for you to come back.
or even to visit.
i will only spare my love and all good energy,
but keep it at a distance.
You are gone , now there is nothing that i own
I miss you second after second , you were my treasure
Now no one's there to make me feel special , your memories gives me pleasure
Dear Brother
You’ve teased me,
Loved me,
Tormented me,
And taught me.
You’ve made me cry,
Laugh,
Yell and scream,
and smile,
All in the same day.
I hated you,
What I remember
Gets lost half way to December
A missing goodbye
Filled with sweet lies
Waited all day
Stayed up all night
Then someone awoke me with a couple of lights,
You everything I hoped you would not becomeAnd nothing like you promised you would not be
But now, you live within me
I am fifteen
And my hair is nice and long
I still have the curls
And my love is not so strong
Couldn't see, couldn't hear, darkness was everywhere
Why did you leave? I needed you
More now than ever I'm so lost without the two of you
Remember when you would call me boo?
This half of my bed
Has been crying for you, asking where you've been
and who you've been sleeping on since then
I wish for real happiness.
I wish for exquisite love.
I long for the wishes upon the shooting stars to come true.
God work your magic through my hands;
I'll heal the souls of the dedicated.
When they break like rusted baskeball nets,
I remind them why they entered the game.
Remember when you dad got you your first ball?
Emotions held in,
Tight, but pinned,
Tears want to fall,
But can't be seen, at all.
The balloons held in our hands,
The memories, they dance,
Let go, the balloons fly,
I got up this morning, curled my hair.
On a Sunday! I wish it were for church.
But I can’t begin to tell of the despair,
The loss, the sad, or the hurt.
You were going to leave
But I said no
I begged and I pleaded
I hope you wouldn't go
You looked down upon me
A smile upon your face
With my arm in yours
You took your place
I am from a picture perfect world
Where everyone has to be a certain size
Where children are growing up to realize
That their size is not acceptable
That they must change how they look
To fit in.
The wrinkles under his eyes
spell experience and trust
as his overworked lips form the words
let yourself be raw
but even then i paint.
I paint over the bruise on my cheek
You start off small, you are nothing
New territory, new experiences, new chapter of life
Feeling empty and alone, but you are not
All that hard work paying off
Progression and changes
Comfort and confidence
