This self-hate in me continues to grow
I feel like a monster, but not within
I’m not bad I tell myself, yet everyone runs from me
Gliding through the frozen ice portrayed as time,
It is so easy to forget the memorable events
That paints the portrait of the world.
Yet, with one more careful glance
My headphones are already loud
But I turn up the noise
in an effort to ignore
the turmoil downstairs
I don't mean to listen
I don't want to listen
I'd rather not but
She didn't know why
Her anti-suicide talks
Wouldn't work on her.
What is a wave,
A wave in the sea,
What is a wave on the shore?
I am a wave,
A wave on the sea,
I crash against the shore!
Why am I here,
Just to be there,
Darkness
Darkness; continuous, deep, perpetual darkness.
Constant. Soulless. Empty dark space.
You're tired so very tired
At the end of the day, when the flashback startsThe brilliant rays of the sun isall I’ll remember

Ripping inward to pull itself outward. Shadows
Poetry is a language
spoken by many,
Though only some choose to be
eloquent writters.
I write to illuminate my world.
I write to open my eyes,
to uncover everything in diguise.
Unbroken silence
Quiet is all around me
My eyes search for sound
Seeing is hearing
Even what is not spoken
Eyes hear everything
Life with no hearing
Silence is normal for me
My life is not loud
