It's a new world outhere to behold within  to catch without leaving for times, unknown to the doubts your lives, little to the gold found in the rubble of the world in here we toss and turn
The American People I hear again, That is me So I listen.   I hear words, Words I never said or thought Under the label The American People.
One time, Sometime, There was a non-magical building In an even more non-magical town, Where pumpkins and mice Were as plain as they sound.   There were no Great Stone Dragons
As one, we are the people. As one, we are the world power. As one, We were once the United States of America.   Slowly, but oh! so slowly... The rivers came, angered, shunned, alone.
Oh, when will we see the land of the free   There is a war not away    But right in the streets   A place of division   And fear of police   Oh, the need to come together

E Pluribus Unum. Out of many,  One.    One lost hope, One country fallen from grace, One administration
Sometimes people forget We are on the same side, We fight each other Instead of the enemy.   A country full of hypocrites,
America Home of free and brave Everyone 'loves' America But why are we so divided?   If America is beautiful, why do we pollute? If America is great, why do we hate?
Oh, the want for greatness is an earnest desire, It’s your life, after all. Passionate people in a divided nation, Of course they don’t want it to fall!   Voice your views! Denounce the enemy!
    You didn't have me in stiches at hello, but you had me in stiches not too long ago. This is a love story fraught with grief, Cause I'm caught up bewteen you two,  my first love and you.
Gentrification gettin’ into this nation;Historically segregation, Killin’ kids, lit in flames and;Rioting makes it hasten, and racists make the hatred;It’s wicked and dangerous, we livin’ in hades;
Can I Get A Story I am Black and American Yet I am labeled as white And not because I bite
I have a voice; Strong and loud. Can make people listen, People in the crowd. I know right from wrong; I'm not sitting in a cloud. I'll scream till you hear me; Scream really loud!
Do not run. Walk. Do not yell. Talk. These somber expressions They haunt me my nights, to make perfect impressions, to have the right opinion, the right clothes, the right smile,
Affirmative action. A good idea? Perhaps. Equality for all races... Hate that word, races. Tells of a division Separate groups Of black, and white. "Why?" some ask Not understanding
