Unexpected Light

"Would you be like the others?", I pondered.
It began with art and a hint of hesitancy.
This was my thing. Our thing.
And now you are here to share it. With us.
One of the most magical days of my life
Old guitarists and greyed rainbows seep through my soul
And you were there.
"How long though?", I'd wonder.
Surely you know how he can be.
How we can be.
Like father, like daughter..like hell.
But it doesn't have to be that way.
You would help me figure this out.
The introspective light.
How too much light can affect a person.
How just because you could not be there for him
Did not mean you couldn't be there for me..
We weren't a single entity that I'd never escape.
In fact, we weren't a we at all.
You were there with the light to aide this vision.
And it will shine forever.
