Tick Tock

A tick tock noise from the clock in my room
Knocks my head on and on
Till it wakes me up in the middle of the night,
So I found myself looking right at the ceiling
My body starts sweating
By breathing is rushing.
How I am suppose to sleep
After I have been nudged couple of times
Nudged by the tick tocking
I tighten my eyes for the sleep that I keep.

Suddenly I remember
I remember that I never ever had
A clock
Never hanging on the wall
Nor in any other part of the hall
That's when I realise
Tick tock tickity tock
Was just all my concerns and fears
That will never stop bothering me
Since I live this pain every night
I need someone beside me and hold me tight.
