Ritual
What we do,
what we say,
how we think,
be aware,
and repeat.
Take the fruit from the low hanging tree,
easy to take,
easy to see,
thank you to the low hanging tree,
and repeat.
Drive all the way,
for eight hours you work all day,
just to come back home,
and repeat.
Sit upon your wooden throne,
rest and yell in a mighty tone,
what is a human but a voice to be heard,
all above all others,
and repeat.
Can you tell the others to quietly listen,
for your message on them will glisten,
as you eat another beared fruit,
they do the same,
and repeat.
It's our habits that make us who we are,
not our plans, words or scars,
we can only be,
what we reflect unto ourselves,
every hour of every day,
and we repeat.
Take a look at your daily life,
look at others in all of their strife,
rest easy assured and well,
that others are safe,
and we may repeat.
