I, too, sing America

I, too, sing America.

I am determined.

They say I don’t have common sense

They don’t think I can manage myself.

But I know what I am capable of,

And I can push myself harder,

And I have God to turn to.

Tomorrow is a new day,

I’ll show them how far I can go.

They don’t think I can manage myself.

Nobody’ll tell me

What

I can

Or can’t do.

Besides, I know I can handle it.

They’ll see that they’re wrong,

And I will be successful.

I, too, am America.
