The decision

People say life is short,
And that "You Only Live Once"
But life is the longest thing you'll ever do.
Why should I keep going?
Why should I keep breathing?
I can't find the meaning.

Somebody save me from myself.
I am my biggest enemy.
I am the one who keeps me awake at night.
I am the one who can't put up a fight.
Do I let go or keep holding on?

The decision isn't really up to me.
There'll be people crying when I leave.
They'd be calling my name asking "why?"
I don't want to be the one causing such harm.

I guess I'm meant to stay.
To fight until the end.
I won't let anyone down,
Especially myself.
I will continue with my head up high.
Ignoring the bad,
And applying the good in life.

Life is the longest thing you'll do.
Make it count by doing what's right.
It's never too late to start,
But don't end before your time.
