Brother fear not

We are not bound by blood yet nothing can separate us
I do not know you since birth yet our energies tell a different story
I haven't had the opportunities to play with you as a child but now I can advise you as an adult
I know how he hurts you, his violent nature crushing your spirit
Your tears tug at my heart to see them fall gently to the ground dissapearing into nothingness,
The nothingness you feel inside when his presence surrounds you
The false pretenses builds his mask of "care"
Your distant memories pay you no homage to who he is now
Emotions in a whirl wind you try and grasp onto familiarity
You fade deeper into the abyss with the lies they accused you of
They wonder where you've gone to, they wonder where the light's gone
The dark, looming shadow smiles from the corner and YOU know
