It's quite old.

There's a saying.

That's often told.

"Sticks and stones may break your bones,

but words with never hurt you"

I don't believe that this is true.

For the wrong words can leave you feeling blue.

There are the ones who recieve the whispers.

The ones within the rumors.

Words won't break their bones...

But what about their precious soul?

Those words will turn so,

Death and perfection may become your goal.

You and others call them names.

Why would you do that?

What's to gain?

So words do hurt in the end.

Overall there'll be much more to mend.

Sticks and stones may break your bones.

But words can always hurt you.
