Balance and The Journey
I am just a traveler in want of a little rest
I had been blending through a city of the oppressed
Dimming me down to the filthy ground
Screaming at me, they surround
My fresh skin struggled to handle the scars
And it was then I decided to run far
So I have been travelling towards the blooming flowers
To inspire my old self to be set free
I have travelled through the blue seas
Which I’ve found had always been moving within me
As I looked to the red sun, it grinned with glee
Mocking me when it knew I could see
Their words seize me in their arms and suffocate my thoughts
Then they throw me under the gun, one too many shots
Bullets in my skull as sharp as a rose’s thorn
I am killed...
...I have cried...
...and then... I am reborn
Suddenly green grass fills a radiant wonderland
And it moved every feeling of wonder and awe
I move towards the orange flowers, which bloom in my hand
And I was the most beautiful thing I ever saw
