  When I was drowning, you saved me You pulled me from the waters cold grasp And lifted my head above the waves of my own depression And for that you were my hero.  
  25 yards, at age 10 At 11, 50 yards Now at age 18 I am going 1650 yards in one race An average man can go 3 days without water,
The bottom of the ocean. Not viewable to anyone. 95 percent unknown. Yet, many people do not fear it. I am not one of those people. Yet, my senior project was to swim one mile.
I am a swimmer. Jumping into the pool, feeling the water against my skin. I am a swimmer. Listening to my coach, giving me words of advice as I compete against grown men. I am a swimmer.

Fishy, fishy, Swim, swim, swim,   What's it like inside your bowl? Is it hot or cold? Out here, in the air, The temperature is fare, But the serene life of you,
I am a river working hard always moving changing everything around me, while accepting change, myself. Sometimes I am calm sometimes I am restless. No matter, for I am a river.

    A new school year is different for few   Almost all kids wakE up at 7:30  
So deep, so deep. Sarcasm is my towel.
The sun sets both high and low Someone lets  Their lover go   The waters deep And the birds high It's a small leap Maybe he'll fly   Darkness surrounds him
Warm salty yet smooth waves
Instead of chasing balls with friends I was focusing on something else instead In four months time I would find That dishes only what you can handle It's rather scary for a 9 year old to go under the scalpel
She steps into the water, Spirals of foam pulling at her ankles. The ocean billows out before her Like a pair of sails in the wind. A pelican rests in the water Out beyond the waves.
