Worth Saving

It’s really sad when someone feels that death is the only to finally find peace.

It felt like I had hit a brick wall when I found out that you had taken your life.

Sweetheart, eighteen is much too young to stop living.

This is the age when life is just beginning.

Your life was worth saving.

I keep asking myself, “Why I didn’t realize that you were so full of pain.”

I know what it feels like to be all alone with the thoughts inside your head.

I know how it feels to believe that every mistake makes you feel unworthy inside,

But screwing up comes with the territory of being a human being.

Oh, I wish you would have known that it would have all been okay.

Your smile will be missed.

I wished I could have said something, anything that could have changed your mind.

No one deserves to go away like this.

I hope in your final moments,

You knew you were loved so much that Jesus died for all the sins you felt were too unforgivable.

You were never a disappointment.

It feels like a dream that you are gone.

I can’t wait to see you again.

And right now, you are going to be a friend who will be truly missed.

We couldn’t save you,

But we can save others.

So today, I am telling you that you are loved by God.

He gave his life for you.

Trust me, there is no greater love.

Don’t listen to any negativity.

Any terrible things you may have thought or done have all been forgiven by God.

You are loved.

You are loved.

You are loved.

Your life is worth saving.
