Warm blue
I am the human embodiment of fear and trepidation.
My body is a reeking cesspool of panic so I lie awake in bed like an earthworm lay on cement and
rot
I tucked myself away into the scum of the pond
and stared at the fireflies
Trees bent down to me and stole the thoughts from my brain
they sipped them like cool rainwater and flung them to the sky as they left me
The heavens stole my words as they formed into clouds
Engulfing, raging clouds
And the world was torn from light for eight months.
Those angry eyes,
those angry eyes
The sharp knife in the corner of my mind
is the dull reminder of
you
