Tall Lonely Depressed Girl
I look myself in the mirror and I see a "tall lonely depressed girl."
Well, not really.
My friends see that.
They don't see all of the struggles that I go through.
They don't see all of the wars that I fight in my head.
They don't see all of the stories that I make up in my head just so I can fit in.
They don't see any of that.
Ol' tall lonely depressed girl.
Is not how I look at myself in the mirror
I look myself in the mirror and I see
"You're better than this."
"You're better than her."
"Youre better than him."
"You're better than them."
Plus you have really nice eyebrows and I love your outfit.
I look myself in the mirror and I see a Salvadorian.
An American.
An artist.
A teenage girl that is just trying to survive her last year of high school.
Senior year.
Woah.
The year that everyone dreams of but is terrified for it to appear.
Or is just me.
Tall lonely depressed girls bearly make it out of high school.
That definitely won't be me.
This is just the beginning,
But you best believe I'm making it out of high school with a Bang!
I look myself in the mirror and I see me.
Ingry Andreina Mejia Garmendia.
IAMG.
This tall lonely depressed girl will be out there.
And you'll see her everywhere.
