Questions & Doubt

How hard is it to breathe?

When your mind is not at ease?

In a sense you think you're fine, try to hold it in inside.

You affirm yourself, "I got this".

But you're not the kind who's reckless.

You always make a plan, and you're surprised you haven't ran.

Away from this stress, away from this vulnerability.

But you know in the end this will bring you mental stability.

Trying to stand, without a helping hand

Nothing except the voices, and through my head they ran.

Words of encouragement, but I was never sure of it...

...If they're truly sincere or if they're out here BS-ing it.

Step by step going through the motions,

the phrase, "I can't do it?"

Girl, go beat that notion!
