Wondering mind leads you to question how to mend this relationship we so helplessly destroy.
It's like love without a purpose yet love of such chaos brings also moments of joy.

Is it not but an hour out of the day that we may show love to one another?

Can we find no more time than such to commit and give our attention to the other?

Saddened is my heart when thoughts scurry off to think of the battle we are held in like a prisoner of war.

With the best of my ability I attempt to change my ways so that to limit the fights that cut straight down to my core.

What is this connection that locks our hearts so?

Could it be that we are just two stubborn adults not willing to lose by letting go?

When your eyes find their way to the place I stand do fireworks knock you off your feet?

Or is it just another glance that holds no more meaning than the last person you stood to greet?

Million dollar question is seemingly ours to own for the story of us is a question only God may solve.

What must be done to end this cycle of destruction? What must we do to evolve?

Walk along with your thoughts to a quiet place where you may then attempt to ponder.

Gather your thoughts diligently and welcome clarity to what our relationship may reassure.

Ashamed I feel to write such words of wonder when it's love that should never be mistook.

Taking two steps back I wonder if its doubt of love or doubt in each other that forces us to take a second look.
