Father,

I'm here again

On my knees at the foot of your 

holy throne.

Father,

You know my heart and my desires

You know of the fire in my heart.

You know the state of my mind.

Father,

You know who she is,

You know her who makes makes my 

Smile warm and my heart flutter.

But,

God, I don't ask that you

Give her to me or allow

my heart the privilege to experience

the sweet joy of her love.

Nay, I ask this,

Lord God of my fathers, give me

Strength in dealing with this 

Internal war.

If it is your will that I may be allow

To love her then let it be.

If nay then help me to be strong

And happy in you.
