Pray for the Impossible

Pray for the impossible,

Preach for those before

Learn to find what’s possible

And make a future to live for

If my body was made for flying,

Then you must be the breeze

To stop my tears from crying

Lying in our pile of leaves

If my body is made of ashes

Then it was you who sparked the flame

But as it flickers and flashes out of control

It is me who’s left to blame

Your eyes are polished mahogany

With the gleam of diamond seas

Your smile heals my heartache

Why does it have to leave?

To stare into your opal eyes

Reminds me how to breathe

If only I could tell you

Just how much you mean to me
