Passion and Serenity

Once again Autumn is upon

Leaves are changing,

colors blossom

trees nestle into their winter shell

Year after year, I've always viewed things with such blind eyes

just a tree,

just a color,

just a fading season

But now I see the truth

the fall loves the summer, but

it cannot handle the passion that summer brings

summer loves the fall but it cannot handle the serenity and comfort it offers

like starcrossed loves can never unite

just like the sun fading into night,

the seasons can only touch briefly before they must part

but they will always hold each close to heart
