I learned through tragedy, a way in which the external world can reach it's greedy hand out and take away stored happiness
I am and have been loveless and lawless and jaded and frankly, indifferent
There is an annoying orange fruit,
Who considers himself as quite cute.
A sprite would start raving mad
Then beating this funny lad
With some leprechaun magic, "Hoot, hoot!"
and I am sitting in my bed and
i see the water turn my doorknob,
dissolve the door hinges
and all I can think is that “orange” is
the only word that has ever seemed to rhyme
She sat alone
A hard surface beneath her
The sky as the limit above
Two hands
One face
Approaching without bounds
To peel away her bitter layers
To see the underlying beauty beneath
To take away,
with the accordance of a fowl,
the flight of a child
is not the loss of air.
The wings that protrude
from the back of your aims
are the soul that keeps one on fire;
Oranges are orange,
2016 seemed long and tough,
but its OK,
because just as the color of oranges has become brighter with time,
so will our future.
The world of a girl who could kind
It's a world of okay
a world of enough
the only thing you can do is at the whisp of a brush
and everyone knows you can't
it's a world of no risks
Fresh oranges and a sunset to match
The gap between his teeth, only visible when he laughs and
freckles the that speckle the tip of his nose.
We call them sun kisses.
When I was younger, life meant forever.
Forever was an orange.
Lingering pith strands
stuck beneath nail beds.
Palms faintly yellowed
from the mist
which clung to clothes like a child.
You two really are magnets.
But you both have the same polarity.
And maybe you were both purple once
But he's red, and you're blue.
But me?
I'm yellow.
And he and I?
We're orange.
Deep within the earth’s core
A pool of magma dreams to soar
Beyond the darkness
Because although this pool is very bright ----
It is only their own light ---
And they want more
They crave more
Indigo is a darkness, insurmountable. Indigo is trying to love what you loved not a month ago, but the feeling isn't there. Indigo is trying to summon the will to care, but you can't.
Orange is walking alone. Orange Is hearing the crunching of leaves beneath your feet and nothing else. Orange is wishing you could hear his footsteps beside your's but you're not that lucky.
Now that summer washed away,
and school is in full swing,
I realized there's no time to play,
or warmth until this spring.
I must look beyond the gray,
and look for all that's good,
Through the trees shone
A burnt orange light
The sun sinking low
As the moon took its post.
Friends huddled around
A fading orange glow
The last of the coals
As the cold held us close.

Once again Autumn is upon
Leaves are changing,
colors blossom
trees nestle into their winter shell
Year after year, I've always viewed things with such blind eyes
just a tree,
just a color,
The full moon, the dark sky.
It never leaves my mind.
It guides me all the way, through the twists and turns.
You burn a mild orange now and again like that of the autumn color leaves.
I could not figure out what to write about
It was quite the mess to figure out
My mother had tons of doubt
In my terrible rhyming skills
She thought I was unable to rhyme
Worth a dime
