Paper Thin Walls

Through paper thin walls,

I watch as you slowly fall,

With your kness down to the ground,

And with eyes downcast, I can hear every sound.

As the clock ticks away the time,

It takes every opportunity away from you to shine,

As the tears pour down your face,

You lock your heart away in a case,

Holding your face in your hands,

You don't know how much more you can stand,

As you feel the warmth leave you,

And all the lies you denied, become true.

Through the paper thin walls,

I watch as you slowly fall,

With your kness down to the ground,

And with eyes downcast, I can hear every sound.

As you begin to wipe the tears away,

You look to the bed where he used to lay,

And you feel it all pour out,

As you open your mouth and begint to shout,

The ice inside your chest, is replaced by fire,

As you realize all he was, was a liar,

You stand up and begin to move,

Afterall, what more do you have to lose?

Through paper thin walls,

I watch as you slowly fall,

With your knees down to the ground,

And with eyes dowcast, I can hear every sound.

The letters he wrote, you grab and burn,

Your pain will be his; it is now his turn,

To feel the icy coldness of betrayal,

Woven through by all his tales,

You know he's out with her tonight,

So your going to make sure he knows your spite,

Wearing your caged heart on your sleeve,

You begin to prepare to leave.

Through the paper thin walls,

I watch as you slowly fall,

With your kness down to the ground,

And with eyes downcast, I can hear every sound.

You watch as he pulls her close,

And you can feel in every fiber of your being, how much of her you loathe,

But fuck all the tears,

He wasn't worth your time, Dear,

They will one day become nothing but a memory,

For now, this pain will be only temporary,

But you reap what you sew,

For this pain you feel, he will one day know.

Through paper thin walls,

I watch as you slowly fall,

With your fists raised high,

And your spirits and heart risen to the sky.
