pens her whispers into hushed handwriting.

shouts her fears, thoughts, angers into the cold clean air.

slinks through every inhalation that passes,

rushing past the menial quips.

glistens under the spotlight of the sun, and

owns each step that she takes without a sound.

narrates her own life day by day through the gleam in her eyes

harvests the thunderstorms that quake underneath, while

ribboning the mornings with her wide, gentle smile.

punctures and

infests the minds of whomever walks her way.

prays with her god and not to him,

never shirking behind anonymity.

wears a heavy heart, yearning for slower breaths and quieter days.

has never been more alive than she is today

and regrets not an ounce of her being.
