Loneliness

Loneliness circles overhead

Her silent song only heard by those who know her

He drifts down the hall
Noticed only by those who fear him

Loneliness is a silent roar
Bashing itself against others' souls
Demanding to be acknowledged
By those who would rather see it dead

However once it is accepted
Loneliness is your companion

She will stay with you
He will never leave
Even when all else abandons
And is destroyed

Loneliness will wrap you in its warm embrace
And spread its chill to you
