Just Write

Mon, 05/28/2018 - 09:13 -- Darbi

The mind is a battlefield

A realm of chaos

Thoughts fighting for dominance

To be discovered and elaborated upon

Fragments

Dreams, goals, appointments, needs, wants

Not yet fully formed

The conscience brain is left to muck about

Find a thought

Sculpt it to coherency

Act upon it

Not an enjoyable endeavor

How to organize,

Compartmentalize?

What is important?

What is not?

How to decide,

To think which thought should be thunk?

Overwhelmed

Too many thoughts

Not enough time

What to do, what to do?

Relieve the tension

How?

Just write

Put thoughts on paper

Do so naturally

Thoughts aren’t created in full form

So don’t force them into completion

Put something on paper

Read through it

Analyze it

"Why was this important?"

"What prompted this?"

Hindsight is 20/20 afterall

Some thoughts are worth thinking

Some are not

Sift through some

Let your consciousness free

Let it flow unimpeded

In a rigorous exercise

It becomes easier to decide

Think which thoughts should be thunk

Eventually the battlefield calms

Into a peaceful pasture

Comprehension

A steady stream of contemplation

A strategy perfected

Peace

Just write
