How does one fight back..

Location

She cries softly,

Tears drive down her cheek.

Hopelessness fills her body greatly,

And she fears the next encounter.

How shall she escape,

From this torture?

Once thought of pure adornment,

Now seen as prisoner of love.

Can she escape?

Oh, but she still loves him so.

Does she not?

Rustling battle within the mind,

Who does she turn to?

Threats fill the air,

He is here.

Told she deserves this,

As she is wounded.

 Called degrading names,

Punches thrown to the defenseless body.

She takes it.

She weeps.

Why is it not easy,

To seek help?

Why?
