Gravity

Thu, 12/27/2012 - 21:45 -- polar

There was once a girl
She was sweet as can be
There was once a girl
And there was more to her than what you could see

She dreamt of flying
Being stuck on the ground bothered her
And people were always lying

She had had enough with gravity
She ran home, her eyes spilling seas
Today she would finally save herself from this brutality

Alone in the dark
Her metallic hand seemed to be her only escape
Up to her head - she ignored her dogs' bark

She remembered all of her years of crying
She was once a girl, a very sweet girl really
And she was flying
