Caring about yourself is hard to do.
Especially if you're used to caring for someone else too.

There's going to come a time when you just need to worry about yourself.
Even if other people cry for help.

There's nothing wrong with putting yourself first.
And quench that undenying thirst.

There is so much more out there to be discovered.
But first you must be uncovered.

Don't be afraid to show the world who you are.
You could be someone raising the bar.

Fight through the difficulties in life.
And use something as soft as a feather instead of a knife.

I know life can be a mess without some structure.
But try to ease around the scaring puncture.

Nothing in this world is a life ender.
Unless to God you're a big time spender.

God will help guide you and treat yourself how you should.
And maybe one day you'll see what you could.
