Expectations

Thu, 09/05/2013 - 00:58 -- EnLaJaz

How silly of me to have expectations.

Did I forget you were human just like I?

The simple fact that we are human proves that I should have no expectations for you.

I should not expect you to hold me, listen to me, laugh with me, understand me, love me.

Us humans are not perfect but we toss around the word, give others titles and characterizations as if we are the epitome.

Mom, dad, sister, brother, best friend, boyfriend, husband.

I should have never put that much pressure on you, by giving you expectations.

Maybe this is why the least fortunate experience beatitude more often than the most fortunate.

Because I am human also, I continue to make the error of awarding others the privilege of being a part of my expectations.

A never

Ever

Ever

Ending

Spiral.
